But is not downtown Xiamen. Very pleased with the hotel cleanliness and rooms are spacious.
Very helpful staff. I couldn't give any comments about breakfast as I didn't eat breakfast in this hotel.

Ooverthinking_outloud28We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Zhongshan Pedestrian Road in Xiamen. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They checked us in quickly—even a little earlier than the official time—and provided us with water and a place to sit while we got settled. Seeing that we were traveling with a lot of luggage (as my parents had flown in from South Africa and this wasn’t their final destination), they offered us an upgrade for just 100 yuan to a more spacious room. This was such a thoughtful suggestion and made our stay much more comfortable, as the original room would have been quite tight with all our bags.
Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond, sending us recommendations for food and activities via WeChat. This was especially helpful for us as visitors navigating in Chinese, and it made exploring the city much easier.
The room itself was excellent—spotlessly clean, modern, and stylishly designed. The loft layout was a fun touch, with my parents downstairs and me upstairs. Everything felt new and well maintained, from the bathroom to the furniture and finishings. In fact, it looked even better in real life than in the photos, which is rare for many hotels.
The rooftop was another highlight, offering a lovely view and a great spot to enjoy dinner. Overall, the hotel had a fresh, welcoming atmosphere that made our stay very pleasant.
The only small downside was the loft ceiling height—I hit my head a few times despite the “mind your head” signs. While this is to be expected with loft-style rooms (and I’m on the taller side), the signage could have been placed in slightly better spots. That said, it didn’t take away from how enjoyable the stay was.
In short, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way: fantastic service, modern and clean rooms, thoughtful touches and a prime location. I would absolutely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again.

Premièrement, la petite sœur blanche de la réception, particulièrement enthousiaste. Nous étions préoccupés par le jeu du salon d'art de la chaussure. Elle savait qu'elle nous a aidé à passer la voiture immédiatement après. C'était trop opportun, particulièrement touché!
Et notre grand frère de chauffeur, qui nous a pris l'initiative de présenter les attractions de la trompette, nous disons quels sont les rues amusantes, où prendre des photos, et particulièrement intimes.
Le paysage de la tour est bon, ainsi que l'hôtel aussi bon et le personnel aussi enthousiaste, ce voyage est très confortable!

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

L'hôtel est idéal, offre un accès facile aux attractions voisines. Le personnel m'a également donné des coupons de petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et varié. Ils changent le menu tous les jours et fournissent les spécialités de Xiamen.
En général, ma expérience n'était rien de moins que remarquable, et je reviendrai certainement sur mon prochain voyage à Xiamen.

By 3.20pm, the got me a room that is right beside the lift (ignore my request which I had reminded them twice).
Order for room service and told the front desk to clear it out around 6pm when I went out. But the dirty plates and leftover food is still there when I return to the room around 11pm
Staff at the front desk is not attentive and the staff said will get the manager to contact me regarding the missing food for the room service but there’s no one contact me since 30 October
Location wise is good, room is clean but service wise nah

La chambre est bonne. L'endroit du lit est juste bon. Pilote trop douce. Mais ils sont en mesure de fournir des pilotes de blé de buck. Le service était très rapide. La seule chose que je n'aime pas est que le convent d'air est vieux et ont un son léger rattling toute la nuit. J'ai dû mettre sur un adhésif pour dormir. Je suis un léger sommeil. Mais mon mari a bien dormi sans problème. sélection de chaînes de télévision tous les locaux et de chaînes de presse internationales. Les choix sont limités. Hôtel réputé. Joyeux de rester. Mention spéciale à Lucy de la maison qui s'est connectée avec nous pour s'assurer que nous étions confortables.
J'ai demandé de changer de chambre parce que la première chambre a mal parfumé et qu'ils se sont rapidement changes pour moi.

MM368220****Mon fils et moi sommes arrivés vers 23 heures. La chambre était dans un coin, donc la disposition était étrange. Il y avait une odeur de moisi en entrant dans la chambre et il y avait de la moisissure dans les coins. Un long couloir occupe quatre à cinq mètres carrés, et la pièce a en fait à peu près la même taille. Il y a des creux dans le sol, ce qui rend la marche un peu inconfortable et bruyante. Les toilettes étaient sales quand je suis entré. C'était très inconfortable et avait l'air mauvais. Je n'ai pris aucune photo des toilettes. La télévision était brouillée et je ne pouvais pas la regarder du tout. J'ai appelé la réception et leur ai dit de vérifier, mais ce serait plus tard. J'ai lavé mes vêtements à la main et je les ai étendus sur le balcon. vivait dans un dortoir. Le prix est de près de 300 RMB après les réductions de Global Express et d'autres réductions. L'emplacement est bon. Je suis arrivé tard à Zhongshan Road et je suis parti tôt, donc je n'ai pas emmené mes enfants visiter l'île de Gulangyu.

It's the first time I encounter staff kept telling me my room is a ”special offer” room at check in process when I didn't ask anything about the room.
She was very friendly and even offered to usher us to our room. When we exit lift at level 9, she led us to a hidden stairs behind the lift. So no wonder she has to led us because the ”special offer” room was hidden.
The wall and corridor looked different from the normal rows of rooms from lift level.
When we went in the room, we realised it's very small but didn't immediately check trip.com photos and booking details. We put our bags and left quickly for dinner.
When we returned I don't think the room matched what I booked here so I went to the counter and inform the same staff. At this moment, I understand why she kept using the words ”special offer room” when I checked in.
Advertised pictures of the room type showed several different designs but all have space for table and chair.
The room given to me only has leg space around the double bed and a low cabinet (height of stool) near the door.
Shower and toilet are in the same space which means toilet will be wet when u shower. This room is 902.
At the counter, the staff said I should have rejected the room at first glance and she doesn't have other rooms which looked more like the advertised rooms because I rejected too late.
Her colleague besides her said the hotel has many different rooms. She said my room is ”special offer room” and they don't bother to look at my phone to see trip.com photos and listed space and furniture provided.
I made the colleague look at trip.com room photos and tell me the type of room they belong to. To my horror, the staff sad those are Yi yue rooms and not yi xin.
So I asked them if they are telling me that the hotel used yi yue room photos as advertisements to sell yi xin rooms. Then she became quiet and the girl suddenly has other room for me to change.
Although the new room (also level 9) still didn't have the table and chair as per listed in trip.com booking details and photos but at least it is far more decent.
Please be careful if you have already booked this hotel!

Ttimtan8L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier très central (dans un centre commercial et à proximité des rues commerçantes). Le thé et le dîner sont offerts ! Le personnel de la réception est très serviable et sympathique. Nous sommes toujours accueillis chaleureusement et à l'écoute de nos moindres besoins ! Jiang Bei a été particulièrement attentive à nos nombreuses demandes ! Elle est très serviable ! Je recommande cet hôtel !
