We had a wonderful experience at Vishan Garden Hotel. It is located in the middle of Zhongshan Lu that has no lack of food. We had 5 nights in the Nanyang 3 bedroom and a mini living room. Each room has a bathroom. The living room had a toilet. This was great for 5 adults. Rooms were huge and beds were comfy. Drinks in the minibar was free with no replenishment. Cleaning aunty was very friendly too. The hotel staff was friendly, esp Linda who engaged with the elders in my group. She was caring towards them. The hotel provides free guest laundry with 8 washer-dryers. They also provide return service of hour laundry, which was great especially when you start washing your clothes at 11pm after a long day out. Aircon in all rooms were working well and all of us had restful 5 nights. Oh and we love love the tea aroma along the corridors. Thank you to the lovely stay and for your hospitality.
Food recommendations
1) if you love Dou Jiang or Dou Hua, look for the soya bean shop at the shop houses to the right along Siming South Rd, after Chagee. The you tiao is yummy!!!!
2) jap bbq shop 肆合烤肉 at Zhonghua Cheng level 2 (north wing) unit 203 to the left of hotel. Kind and friendly boss who is not pushy and even does the bbq for us. Food was fresh and yummy. He also makes his own dip for the meats.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the attentive staff and their speedy response to every request. Whether it was extra amenities or assistance with directions, the team was always friendly, professional, and efficient—making my stay truly comfortable.
The location is perfectly convenient, right in the heart of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street! Surrounded by shopping, dining, and entertainment options, everything was just steps away. Despite the bustling area, the soundproofing was amazing—I couldn’t hear any outside noise, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep.
Highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, unbeatable location, and superb comfort. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Xiamen. This hotel is perfectly located right on the main street in the central area of Xiamen, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed along with a wide range of accessories.The staff were kind, professional and spoke English. For guests who speak other languages, translation tools are also available, which is very useful. Access is quite easy: during the day you can enter through the connected mall (Laiya Department Store - Siming Branch), if you're arriving late at night, there’s a secure side entrance that leads directly to the elevators. Although we didn’t try the breakfast, the bar and dining area near the check-in hall looked spacious and well-stocked with a variety of options. A particularly thoughtful gesture was the gift box of local sweets we received at checkout, an unexpected and very appreciated surprise. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen and the surrounding area.

這是一個寶藏酒店，第一工作人員服務態度特別特別好，第一天洗手枱處沒有涼水，工作人員馬上給解決了，對孩子也特別友好。第二房間設施也很乾凈齊全，是新酒店，所以用的東西也很放心，自己帶的一次性都沒怎麼用，物品也很齊全，別看在商場樓上，但很安靜。一點也不吵，但我看到有的房間有空氣凈化器，有的沒有。第三，酒店位置很好，樓下就是步行街，買啥都方便，交通也很便利，出租車能到門口，打車也很方便。第四，早餐也很豐富，服務員特別會聊天。第五，特別推薦樓下的一個閩南菜，好像叫思嶼，忘記了，招牌是薑母鴨和香煎蟹，還點了一個茶葉蝦，都好好吃。

This hotel transformed my recent trip to Xiamen into an unforgettable experience. Nestled on the fourth floor of a shopping mall, it serves as a serene retreat in the heart of Xiamen's busiest district. With a plethora of dining, food shops and cafes options nearby, I was truly spoiled for choice when it came to food and shopping. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and our two-room suite was beautifully adorned in castleton green with a charming British ambiance, featuring porcelain cats, pottery lamps and live plants. The AI-controlled room added a modern touch, allowing us to effortlessly manage lighting, temperature, and entertainment, as well as order room service or seek local recommendations. I will certainly return for my next visit.
