La charmante réceptionniste qui m'a accueilli à mon arrivée était très attentionnée et sympathique. L'île de Gulangyu prenait vie sous ses explications, et la carte de l'île fournie par l'hébergement était digne d'un manuel d'histoire. Lors de notre première rencontre, j'ai demandé au patron une mise à niveau par l'intermédiaire de la belle réceptionniste. Pendant que la tante de ménage rangeait encore, la jeune femme a offert du thé, des services à thé et encore des services à thé. J'ai préparé moi-même le thé Hangzhou Longjing et, au passage, j'ai joué avec l'appareil photo. Ce fut une expérience très agréable. Si je devais revenir à Gulangyu, je dirais que ce serait grâce à la belle jeune femme à la réception et à la chaleureuse Ji Yi. À mi-chemin de la montagne ! C'est le courage que j'ai de partir.
