Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay

The name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain. The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view. ---- Details ---- In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful! The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it. They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the "wish tree") that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help. The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke. The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period. ---- Services ---- The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch! ---- A Lovely Experience ---- The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹 ---- Conclusion ---- If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!

I am a Thai who has traveled alone in China many times. I must say that this hotel is one of the few hotels where the smell of cigarettes does not disturb my rest in the hotel. The service is family-like. Breakfast is local, such as rice porridge and many side dishes, noodles, bread that the hotel bakes itself every morning, boiled eggs and soy milk. The hotel helps me with almost everything I need, such as checking the bus schedule, calling a taxi to take me to various places, and providing necessary information. The location of the hotel is a bit far, but if you travel by public transportation from Chengdu, you can give the driver the address to drop you off in front of the hotel. On the way back, you can ask the hotel to call a taxi to take you to the station or arrange to pick you up at the hotel. It depends on the time you want to return. Because the hotel is deep, there may not be many shops or restaurants to choose from. But the view around the hotel is very beautiful. There is a small stream surrounded by mountains where you can walk and take pictures.

Service provided was truly top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. The room was spacious, well-maintained and beautifully decorated.

We were supposed to stay in one of the accommodations in Scenic Area Shuangqiao Valley but the plan fell apart when we learnt that we'd be locked inside throughout our stay due to entry ticket requirement and we're not allowed to drive our car in Out of desperation, we booked a room in this homestay and it turned out to the one of the most memorable stays we've ever had. Unlike typical hotels and homestays, this one stood out for their unique character and warm hospitality The room we stayed in was warm and cozy, immediately making us feel at home. Winter at Mount Siguniang was as magical as ever, with bright sunshine during the day and peaceful evenings. We spent time in the tea area of our room, sipping tea, chatting, and enjoying the stars. It was a perfect mix of relaxation and comfort. This was made possible with a very high standard of hygiene and cleanliness not only of our room, but the building as a whole Dining experience was exceptional. Breakfast included freshly baked highland barley breads and plain but comforting congee that warmed our hearts and stomachs. The meals were thoughtfully prepared to suit our preferences, making us feel as though we were dining at home. Sister Chin's generosity and attention to detail extended even to helping us with laundry, ensuring every aspect of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Best part of our stay would be the gather round fireplace in the lounge at night. Our hosts prepared hot tea and we chatted away the entire night. This off-season visit felt even more comfortable than a peak-season trip, and we are so grateful for the hospitality that made this journey perfect. The family’s warmth and sincerity made this a once-in-a-lifetime experience, far beyond what we ever expected from a homestay.

เป็นที่พักที่ดีที่สุดในทริปนี้เลยค่ะ เสียดายที่มีโอกาสพักแค่คืนเดียว ถ้ามาสี่ดรุณีครั้งหน้า จะมาพักที่นี่อีก ไม่นอกใจ 1. ห้องพัก: ใหม่มาก สะอาด เฟอร์นิเจอร์และการตกแต่งสวย ดูมีรสนิยม วิวจากห้องพักสวยตะลึง ห้องหอมมากๆ เตียงมีที่ปรับให้อุ่นได้ ชักโครกก็ปรับให้อุ่นได้เช่นกันค่ะ ไม่เคยเจอโรงแรมไหนให้ของใช้ในห้องน้ำเยอะขนาดนี้ ถ้าขาดเหลืออะไรก็สามารถไปหยิบได้ที่ล็อบบี้ น้ำดื่มในห้องให้มาตั้ง 4 ขวด อีกจุดสังเกตที่ว้าวมากๆ คือมีปุ่มรูปดอกไม้ที่ชักโครกและยางกันกระแทกที่ประตูห้องน้ำ มันแสดงถึงความใส่ใจของเจ้าของ - จุดที่คิดว่าถ้าปรับจะดีกว่านี้คือ ประตูในห้องอาบน้ำน่าจะล็อกได้ เพราะน้ำกระเด็นออกมา ทำให้พื้นโซนแห้งเปียก และไม่มีพรมเช็ดเท้าในห้องเลย 2. การบริการ : พี่ผู้หญิงเจ้าของโรงแรม ดูแลดีมาก มารับที่จุดจอดรถตู้ พอมาถึงโรงแรมก็เอานั่นเอานี่ให้ชิม ให้ขนม ถั่วอร่อยมาก อร่อยจนขอซื้อ แต่พี่เขาบอกว่ามีน้อย สุดท้ายพี่เขายกถั่วให้หมดเลย ละอายใจแต่มันอร่อยจริงๆ ตอนไปทานข้าวเย็นก็อาสาขับรถไปส่ง และไปส่งที่อุทยานในตอนเช้าด้วย 3. อาหารเช้า: อาหารมีแบบเป็นเซ็ต แต่ก็เติมให้ไม่อั้น ซึ่งก็กินไม่หมดหรอก น้ำเต้าหูอร่อยมากเลยค่ะ มีเกี๊ยวร้อนๆ น้ำซุปอร่อยมาก มีกาแฟฟรี สำหรับคนชอบดื่มกาแฟ น่าจะถูกใจนะ 4.โลเคชั่นโรงแรม: อยู่ลึกเข้ามาในซอยหน่อย รถตู้ไม่มาส่ง แต่ไม่ได้เป็นปัญหา เพราะพี่เจ้าของโรงแรมมารับค่ะ และอาสาไปส่งที่หน้าอุทยาน จุดที่โรงแรมตั้งเห็นวิวภูเขาสวยมาก มีแม่น้ำเล็กไหลผ่าน mood ดีมาก ตอนเช้าหิมะตก วิวสวยตะลึงเลยทีนี้
