Hôtels proches de Monument to Backgammon Player, Erevan

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Certes, l'architecture de ce bâtiment qui a été construit à l'époque soviétique n'est pas tres recherchée mais tout à été refait à l'intérieur et on y est très bien. Les chambres sont très grandes, l'endroit est calme, la literie très confortable et le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est extra. Il y a de tout. Le personnel est très souriant et très aimable. Une personne à l'accueil parle le français. Si votre chambre donne sur la rue et que vous êtes dans les étages supérieurs, vous bénéficierez d'une vue sur le mont Ararat. La situation est très centrale. A pied vous pourrez aller facilement place de la république, au quartier très animé des cascades, au musée d'histoire et à celui des manuscrits. Donc une bonne adresse.

Le meilleur endroit pour séjourner au cœur de la ville d'Erevan. le prix, l'emplacement, les chambres et le petit-déjeuner sont excellents. à quelques minutes à pied des rues de la ville, des restaurants raffinés, des bâtiments historiques et de l'hospitalité arménienne.

Cet Hôtel est situé en plein coeur de Erevan et vous permet de visiter les principales attractions de la ville à pied. Le personnel est compétent et souriant et fait tout pour vous satisfaire. Mention spéciale pour Kristine et Milneli à l'accueil et Narek au petit-déjeuner. La chambre est petite mais tout le confort y est, literie de qualité, chambre bien équipée (clim, coffre-fort et minibar, il manque à mon sens qu'une bouilloire et un peu plus de rangement). Pas de bruit de l'extérieur ni entre les chambres. Petit-déjeuner complet et quali à prendre en salle ou sur la grande terrasse couverte. Excellent séjour et surtout rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Petite info la piscine fait 1,30m de profondeur sur toute la longueur. Elle est très bien pour se rafraîchir, il y avait de la place sur les transats à chaque passage, dommage que des clients laissent leur serviette en partant, on se rend compte à la fin que plusieurs transats étaient finalement libres. Prix du mini bar excessif Prix des consommations à la piscine largement abusés, a cela s’ajoute des frais de 10% ! Si les prix étaient plus accessibles, on consommerait beaucoup plus ! (C’est très cher pour l’Armenie et nous avons fait d’autres hôtels de la même catégorie qui pratiquaient des prix moins élevés) En conclusion un bon hôtel qui s’apparentent plus à du 4 étoiles plutôt que 5 étoiles !

On my first visit to Armenia two years ago I chose to be my accommodation in Yerevan the iconic Marriott Hotel which was already perfect in all aspects. Recently I went back again and stayed at Courtyard Hotel, being the youngest among all Marriott-branded properties in Yerevan, with which the experience largely exceeded my expectations. Courtyard Yerevan surprised me on a number of things. First, it is a very young property having incepted operation for just a couple of months. From the moment I walked into it, everything was simply impeccable. Contemporary designs focusing on simplicity were introduced throughout the interior layout at the lobby, restaurant and other public areas to inspire an absolute freshness. Likewise for my room which was cosy, neat, fully functional and installed with floor-to-ceiling glass windows allowing for natural light maximisation. The housekeeping team does an amazing job on the thorough room upkeep on a consistent basis. Second, although Courtyard brand used to keep things basic and not to offer fancy amenities, the facilities and services that Courtyard Yerevan delivered were nothing short of exceptional. I was impressed with the fact that this property even housed, not just a fairly large gym room equipped with all sorts of state-of-the-art machines, but also a spa centre on the same floor offering a range of massage therapy treatments as well as sauna facilities. Courtyard Yerevan managed to elevate the combined experiences of fitness and relaxation to the next level, which was rare among the rest of Courtyard-branded hotels worldwide. Again, despite the absence of an executive lounge, Courtyard Yerevan offered each in-house staying Marriott Bonvoy elite member a US$10 F&B voucher for each night of stay. I could redeem it towards any F&B spending at the main restaurant on any beverage and à la carte items, which was an absolute delight for loyal Bonvoy guests including myself. Lastly and most importantly, I would like to commend highly on the Nazaret and the entirety of his front office team for their exceptional passion and professionalism about creating a truly hospitable and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. I could say they did exert every single effort on all possible occasions during my two-night stay to take care of me from room assignment, amenities setup, table reservation to dining and sightseeing advices. Their servicing genuineness complemented by the authentic Armenian hospitality was simply unbeatable. Every bit of the arrangement was made with heart and dedication. I truly appreciated it.

Location

I wanted to express my pleasant surprise during my stay at your establishment. Despite encountering negative reviews, I'm unsure why they exist, as the hotel management seems to have reflected upon the feedback, made staff changes, and executed excellent improvements. The hotel staff was remarkably attentive and considerate. From cleanliness and amenities like bathrobes, towels, and napkins – everything was genuinely pleasant, well-kept, and clean. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, catering to any appetite and palate. One delightful note to share is that we casually mentioned my girlfriend had said ”Yes,” and shortly after, we received a thoughtful gift. It may seem like a small detail, but it added an incredibly pleasant touch to our experience. The in-house currency exchange with a favorable rate was a convenient feature. Stepping into the hotel from the street created a truly comfortable, homely atmosphere. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful weekend.

This is a great hotel in a great location. I'm a little inclined to rate less than five stars because I found breakfast a bit disappointing for a five star property but they made up for it in other ways so five it is. The location is excellent, right next to Republic Square and Northern Ave. I liked the building and the room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, though nothing that blew me away. I did like however how generous they were with room supplies. Always six bottles of quality drinking water, replenished every day, and at least two of everything for the bath supplies. They say it's the little things that make a difference, but that just gave a welcoming feeling and not a sense of cutting corners that is so common in many hotels these days. Nice welcome plate of fruits and little chocolates at evening turndown. Breakfast was exceptional in the sense that there was a high level of personalized service, with a waiter taking a la carte orders and providing hot drinks. And I have to say I've never had staff offer you beverages and cakes to take away with you after breakfast like they did here-- a really nice touch. That being said, I did not feel the breakfast offerings met my expectations- especially for vegetarians. There was one tiny bowl of salad (seemed more like a garnish) and a dish of plain undercooked boiled vegetables. I had much better salad and vegetable options at much less expensive four star hotels in Armenia. Even for meat and egg eaters, there really was not as much selection, neither on the buffet nor on the a la carte menu, as what I would expect from this caliber hotel and pricetag. And there was nothing special for foreign tastes (high end hotels often have additional offerings for Chinese/Indian etc.) The items I ordered from the menu were not great either. Maybe the egg dishes are better. Overall there is definitely lots of room for improvement in the breakfast- though the setting, views and service are great. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would rate the service, room and location five star and the breakfast four at best.
