Très bon service et personnel sympathique. Le petit déjeuner était superbe et nous avons pu faire des gaufres en utilisant leur gaufrier dans leur salle à manger ! Excellent emplacement près de la gare aussi. Aussi très près des murs si vous souhaitez grimper =)

Bloqué à York lorsque le bus de remplacement Rail de Darlington a raté le dernier train. J'ai dû trouver un hôtel. J'ai trouvé le Hilton près de la gare, j'ai réservé et je suis allé à pied. J'étais glacial et frustré. Le personnel de l'hôtel était excellent, j'étais rapidement dans ma chambre et sous une douche chaude. J'ai dormi rapidement et j'ai eu l'un des meilleurs petits déjeuners Hilton que j'ai eu depuis quelques années. Bon personnel sympathique et courtois. Si je suis de retour à York, je retourne au Hilton. Malheureusement pas de CNN lol

You were disappointed with the parking arrangement! It uses NCP. You can't drive out for charging once you get in and stamp your ticket with the Hotel discount (you may ignore it). Small room size.

The hotel's hygiene is too poor. The bed sheets and duvet covers in the room are very dirty and feel like they haven't been replaced. There is even hair on the bed that I don't know whose hair it is. The air conditioning in the room is very dry, and the cabinet at the head of the bed is too small. Although there are windows, they cannot be opened.

Hotel room was quite roomy, probably because we got the handicap-friendly room. Cleanliness is good, service staff were helpful. However there were no dental kits and bedroom slippers given.

Great hotel in a great location for the railway station and city centre, hotel staff really helpful and friendly.

With the exception of the check in process that was swift and check in agent was proactive , other services were a disappointment , room towels were not replaced properly and when I requested for an ice bucket for a nose bleed, I had to go to the lobby myself as the receptionist told me over the phone that I have to head to the lobby myself as the counter would be unmanned despite knowing of my nosebleed. Quite a disappointment for a brand such as Hilton

The room is clean and big. Breakfast with good quality food. A self-served waffle is available at breakfast too. Overall, the staff are friendly and attentive.

Everything is satisfied except the price. good location, easy to access shambles, the breakfast is good.

Lucky to have stayed in a quiet and clean double room on the top floor. Everything works fine and as described on the web. Staffs are nice and efficient. Breakfast time a bit packed but you can always find a seat within a few minutes. York is such a small city that you can go anywhere on foot leisurely.

Upon checking in to the room, we noticed that our room’s air conditioning was not functioning. We highlighted to the front desk and were informed that they would reboot the air conditioning unit from their main air-conditioning room. After we came back from visiting, the aircond in the room was still not working, and the windows in the room are not able to be opened. Again we contacted the front desk and this time they informed that they have no idea when the air-conditioning can be fixed. Therefore, we requested to change the room. (The main reason I chose this hotel as they have air-conditioning rooms). Unfortunately, we were informed that all the rooms in the hotel were fully booked and changing of room was not allowed. We have then voiced out our dissatisfaction and disappointment and finally we got to change to another room. Felt tired and speechless that we had to speak to the front desk few times in order to get this settled.

Hotel is at a great location, close to the station and main attractions. Room is nice and comfortable, big TV. Breakfast is ok, not too many options and the room gets very crowded, so I advise going for breakfast before 8am. It said there was a laundry service in the hotel, but actually it is outside and they wanted to charge 37 pounds to wash 3 pairs of socks.

Stayed for a long weekend,very pleasant staff,clean and modern hotel with a good buffet breakfast selection.
