Hôtels près de : Onsen Yunokawa, Hakodate

The room was quite spacious. There’s an enough area for two big suitcases. The view was stunning. There’s staff were all very nice and friendly. There were convenient stores and a big drug store beside the hotel which was great. I recommend staying here!! 👍👍👍

Bon hôtel, très proche de la gare. C'était très propre, salle de bain avec WC privatifs. Articles de toilettes disponibles et gratuits. Micro-onde, bouilloire, TV, sèche-cheveux et frigo sont disponibles. Personnel agréable. Le lit était un petit lit double et en effet c'était juste pour deux personnes. Matelas assez dur. Salle de bain assez petite, c'est assez condensé.

We had a room for 4, which has two beds and two futons, with a kitchen. The onsen was great, a few areas for experiences. The place is near the Main Street with lots of restaurants and the best soup curry restaurant is only 3 min walk away. The services by staff was also delightful, was a wonderful stay.

The Smile Hotel Premium Hakodate Goryokaku is a typical Japanese business hotel, so although the photos of the rooms may look as though the rooms are reasonably spacious, in reality it’s just a typical business hotel, with minimal space.  While this should not be a big issue for many guests, if you’ve not experienced it before, be ready for a rather space limited experience.  Having said that, the room was quite clean and apart from some scuff marks on the walls, it presented quite well.  It’s also important to note, that since it’s a business hotel the bathroom is quite small, with the bathroom wash basin protruding into the bath tub & shower area and the toilet was clearly designed for significantly smaller users.  Apart from changing towels, providing new slippers and replenishing coffee & tea supplies, there was no servicing of my room over the duration of my 3-night stay.  This is all normal, so be ready for it. The biggest annoyance was that there was no air conditioning available during the period I stayed.  This is hotel policy at this time of the year, and the management clearly think that guests have no right to control the temperature, and therefore enjoy some level of comfort in their room.  Because of this, on my first night the room temperature was approximately 25°c (although I couldn’t turn the air conditioning on, the control unit displayed the actual room temperature), which when combined with the fact that the bed has an arctic standard duvet (or futon - whatever you want to call it), the temperature of the room was NOT conducive to restful sleep.  When I enquired about this the next morning, the front desk clerk bluntly said “open the window”, which of course I had tried to do during the night, but for some reason the handle to open and close the window had been removed, making it impossible to open the window.  The clerk kindly offered to go to my room and open the window (presumably using a special tool) once I had left the room for the day, which he did.  The difference in room temperature was quite noticeable when I returned that the evening, but why this policy in the first place, and the belligerence and attitude of management about guest comfort is beyond me. The other issue was the WiFi, which was patchy and unreliable on my floor.  The only way I could connect any of my devices (2 phones & 1 tablet), was to go to the lobby, connect and then return to my room.  Once a connection had been established, I was able to reconnect whenever I returned to my room, however the strength of the WiFi signal varied considerably when making calls using various apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Line and FB Messenger) and therefore the call stability was unreliable with calls frequently dropping out.  When I mentioned this to front desk staff, they offered to reset the WiFi on my floor, however it made little difference. The above matters (air conditioning and WiFi) are all things that are taken for granted these days and are expected of any reasonable hotel, so to experience the difficulties outlined indicates to me that the hotel management is not really serious about guest satisfaction or comfort. Draw what conclusions you will from this review, but from my perspective, it’s is unlikely I would stay at this hotel again when I next return to Hakodate.

Il y a une cuisine et une grande salle de bains! C'est la plus grande chambre que j'habite au Japon, à part l'hôtel Fuji Road! Et il y a moins de la moitié du prix, c'est une surprise! Si le temps est plein, il faut que tu restes là-bas quelques jours plus longtemps pour manger des fruits de mer, parce qu'il y a une cuisine.

The biggest advantage of JR Inn is undoubtedly its location—being directly connected to the JR Station made traveling incredibly convenient and efficient. It’s hard to beat that level of accessibility, especially for those with tight schedules or early trains. However, I was disappointed to find a flea in the bed during my stay. This was unexpected and concerning, as cleanliness is a top priority when choosing accommodation. I hope the hotel takes stronger measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. With such a prime location, JR Inn has great potential, but attention to hygiene and room maintenance is essential to match the convenience it offers.

La location est bonne, qui est au côté de la gare JR et à pied du marché Hakodate Morning. La chambre est grande pour 3 p. Ils ont un déjeuner au deuxième étage et leur petit déjeuner est bon. Veuillez ajouter pour votre réservation. fortement recommandé.

I recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The facilities were impeccably clean, making the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and of high quality, offering a great start to each day. I also enjoyed the on-site hot springs, which were incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the room had a beautiful view, enhancing the overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay.

J'ai visité cet hôtel lors d'un voyage en famille après avoir appris que son buffet de petit-déjeuner était célèbre. J'y ai passé plusieurs nuits et le menu du petit-déjeuner changeait légèrement chaque matin, donc je ne me suis pas ennuyé, ce qui était super. Le bain thermal naturel en plein air était incroyable. Hakodate dispose de nombreuses installations et attractions touristiques qui peuvent être visitées en 30 minutes à pied, et l'accès est facile. Pour une durée limitée seulement, vous pouvez essayer l'oreiller et l'arôme gratuitement. Du coup, j'ai tellement aimé le parfum que j'ai essayé que je l'ai acheté ! Il y a un arrêt de bus pour la gare de Hakodate juste en face de l'hôtel, il était donc facile de se déplacer.
