So, if you are looking for a budget hotel ..stop reading. This is “erste Klasse“, you pay and will get everything you need. The hotel is very modern, not at a traditional Austrian hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The every day cleaning is flawless. The breakfast is very.. I say very good… if you have included spa in your stay, you will enjoy something special… there different saunas.. spacious areas to relax… if you want to take a swim.. the hotel has two … indoor and outdoor.. it’s up to you… Why I love this hotel is that the service is great and the a**osphere is .. well it’s really relaxing.. you don’t get the feeling of that you are staying at a railway station.. if you get the feeling….but the downside is that you have to pay for this … well you only live once…

Overall I enjoyed my two visits of one night each and the price/performance ratio was acceptable. My experiences were: Both stays: + Smooth check-in. Very nice to get a call once the room is ready and to visit the pools before. The second time the lady at check-in did not offer this, though (and I was not called). + The free pick-up at the railway station is high class + rooms are beautiful. + breakfast is excellent + phantastic water landscape The dinner situation is dire. Unfortunately I must explain this a bit. First stay dinner: - Waiters rushing around, behaving as if in a hurry, speaking very fast. There was 20% occupancy or less and lots of waiting personell. The dinner guests were all herded in a small area. Did nobody think of improving the a**osphere by leaving every second of the (small) tables empty ? - I got a cocky (and wrong) answer when I asked which teas (infusions) are available. My question to be moved to a nicer table seemed to be an unheard-of impossibility. - No drink menu was shown and the prices are not mentioned (except the 3 or 4 drink suggestions on the menue of the day. There the white-wine-suggestion-of-the-day (＞EUR 60 per bottle) was way overpriced). - It seems to be a new policy that the buffet options are drastically reduced. Instead of, for example, main-dish-like (seafood, …) choices 3 strudel and 2 (strudel-like) quiche selections were offered, all similar to each other … - Second stay dinner - The change in food policy seems to be permanent. It simply amounts to have not any more the equivalent of a multi-course dinner, but a simple a three course dinner. In former times, I often did not order the main course from the menue because the buffet items were good and diverse main dishes. This is not possible any more, you would stay hungry. Appetizers (sweets) and deserts (sweets as well) are largely indistinguishable. The good antipasti still on the buffet can not compensate this. - Bizarre behavior of the waiter that shows the table: I came to dinner with rather short (but over the knee) trousers. He told me that was told that this is not allowed and management has told him to watch and mention this. Nevertheless he led my wife, me and my son to the table. I mentioned that my trousers are over the knee and that I did not have long ones with me. He said, very loudly, that would not matter and that he hears this all the time from the guests. That was on the way to the table, he probably intended so that all guests could hear him. The reality is that: (1) the hotel can indeed issue such a dress code if it likes. However, this was mentioned in no place, absolutely nowhere. (2) from my experience, it is unusual for a resort hotel to have such a dress code, even in very upscale resorts (as opposed to the dining venues in 5* city hotels, of course).

C'est un tout nouvel hôtel 4 * supérieur que vous découvrirez après près de 6 mois de travaux et qui a gardé l'accès gratuit à la ” Sommer Card ” Vous trouverez un personnel à l'accueil chaleureux - Des chambres au confort exceptionnel - Une restauration au top avec des repas servis à table, des buffets pour les plus gourmands et des soirées barbecues organisées par Georg notre hôte. Pour passer une agréable semaine nous avons profité, largement, des 2 piscines et du nouvel espace aquatique naturel avec sa terrasse pour le petit déjeuner ou le repas du soir. ... sans oublier le Spa pour se faire dorloter. Les plus sportifs iront à la salle de sport super équipé en appareillage et aussi avec un Coach à disposition pour progresser. . Les chambres ou l'appartement sont très simples mais propres. Une rénovation serait utile. L'hôtel est situé sur une rue loud et très roulant. Le restaurant est fermé en raison d'un manque de personnel et n'a pas été occupé par la réception entre 1200 et 1600. Il est proposé un petit-déjeuner, mais nous n'avons pas visité et nous ne pouvons donc pas dire de la qualité de ce petit-déjeuner. La piscine est fermée pour des travaux de réparation. L'installation de l'hôtel n'est pas aussi bien entretenue, mais elle est liée à la pénurie de personnel. Il est très positif d'apprécier les efforts, en particulier la réception, pour pallier ces pénuries. On nous a permis de faire un bus pour aller et retourner dans les restaurants environnants le soir (et même le déjeuner).
