Thank you very much for having chosen our hotel and for your Feedback. We truly appreciate your kind words about our hospitality and facilities and are glad to hear that, overall, you enjoyed your time at our hotel. We can understand, that you were dissatisfied regarding the view of the Matterhorn from Suite 50. Please let us explain, why we could not make a better representation at the time of your booking in February. The cable car from Zermatt to Furi exists for 60 years, our hotel was built in 2008. So, one cable car tower was already in place there long time before we built our hotel. The “old” cable car has now been dismantled and replaced by a new one. The opening will take place in autumn 2023. The construction of the new design pylon was started by the end of May 2023. Even though the design is quite futuristic, the size of this pylon surprised us as well. We had no idea that it would be so massive. Since it has only been fully erected for about 2 weeks, we unfortunately had no opportunity to change anything until now. Since it is not finished yet, we could not have photos taken by a professional photographer. Please believe us, we do not want our guests to arrive with false expectations too. We already started a few days ago with updating texts and room descriptions. But as you can imagine, it takes time. While we try to be as transparent as possible, we understand that sometimes expectations may differ. As you mentioned already during your stay, you were unhappy about the view from your room and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment. In light of your valuable feedback, we would like to express again our sincerest apologies. It's our hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with an exceptional experience, this time with better view of the magnificent Matterhorn.
