The hotel is located on the top of a hill at about 5 km from the old city of Mardin. The view from the hotel terrace is very beautiful, especially during sunset time. Approx 20 tl for a taxi to the old center. The rooms are in line with the standards of Hilton Garden Inn. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. You can have breakfast outside at the exterior terrace. There is an indoor swimming pool and a big fitness centre with a splendid view overlooking the region. A bit detached from the old city centre, but at the same time easy to drive and park.

L'hôtel n'est pas directement sur la rue principale, ce qui la rend calme (considérant que pour accéder à elle il y a quelques mètres à marcher et les escaliers à monter) Nous avons dormi dans une chambre qui est belle, grande et très propre. Si vous avez besoin, un chauffeur n'hésite pas à demander de rencontrer Mohamed. (parleur turc mais Google translate est notre ami :) ) Et pour finir, le petit déjeuner était merveilleux, le meilleur petit déjeuner que nous avons pris pendant notre séjour (Nous avons fait 6 hôtels différents). Nous avons dormi à Mirsoun une nuit seulement, c'est une surprise et un cadeau de mon mari pour notre 4e année de mariage .

Nous aimerions cet hôtel! Il est comme rester dans un palais. Les gens peuvent être inquiets dans votre chambre ne peut pas avoir une fenêtre, mais il a eu une unité de climatisation. La salle de bain est petite et un peu crampée, mais il y a une bonne pression de l'eau. Le petit déjeuner buffet était abondant. Le cadre est magnifique avec des chaises à l'extérieur où vous pouvez regarder le soleil. La réception a été très utile pour nous procurer un taxi/guide. Pas pour les genoux faibles car il y a beaucoup de pas avec des voies à main.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful mansion and words alone cannot express our experience. A truely unforgettable one. The attention to detail, cleanliness, spotless bathroom, presentation of rooms, delicious cuisine, and the most kindest and considerate staff I have come across in Turkey. Genuine hospitality like we have never experienced before. Our needs were met in every way and beyond, right down to organising a private driver to tour us, taking us to all the places we wanted to visit in our short stay. Honestly there is no way this could have been achieved without your help and effort. I am most greatful for having crossed paths with you all, Mr Mahmut Bey, Mr Servet Bey, Mrs Dilber Hanim and our most attentive Mr Bulent Bey who served us breakfast every morning and made us feel so special as well as the chef and cleaning staff… and heartfelt thanks to Mr Kiasim Bey for driving us and showing us all around Mardin and Midyat. Thank You for everything you all did for us, it was very much appreciated! Our holiday in Turkey this time was 2 months long visiting many different locations and places, all the way from Australia. Mardin however was something else, and really stood out amongst the rest. If you are looking for a historical & culturally rich experience please don’t bypass this place, but especially don’t overlook this mansion. I must add that we dined in the hotel restaurant one evening and the the food was like nothing we have experienced during our times in Turkey. This was definitely on another level. Absolutely delicious, using the finest of products and quality that is truely unsurpassed . After your stay, I can assure you, you will not leave disappointed but feeling overwhelmed by the beauty and charm of this place. I personally was left emotional and humbled by the history of this place, the heartfelt hospitality and the kindness of each and every staff member. Otel güzel eski Mardin evi, merkezde olması büyük avantaj, yataklar rahat, normal bir otelde bulabileceğiniz her şey burada da mevcut, fiyatlar uygun, açık büfe kahvaltı çok iyiydi, taze ve lezzetliydi. Ancak duş alma yeri ve lavabo pek temiz değildi. Bu hususa da dikkat edilirse çok iyi olacak.

We had a wonderful stay at Maridin Hotel on our mum-daughter trip to Mardin which was to celebrate my daughter's graduation and my birthday. The reason I wanted to stay here was it's location on the less crowded side of the street 1 and beautiful pictures/videos on instagram (pictures don't do justice to it's actual beauty and feel) Thanks to everyone who work here, their welcome and hospitality made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Their enthusiasm and attentiveness deserve a payrise! We reached there just before midnight our airport transfer was arranged by the hotel, check in was swift and bags were taken to our room straight away, we stayed in a standard twin room, (Mum-daughter) the room is spacious, everything was impeccably clean, spacious shower room, hot showers anytime, the bed was comfortable so, (slept like a baby- or more like their sleep deprived mum!) AC worked well, good soundproofing, no noise from outside or any other disturbance, blackout curtains, the room was cleaned daily everything was perfect (everything was impeccably clean, ignore all the old reviews) Breakfast was served in a courtyard, fresh and delicious regional food presented beautifully by Husayn and Merve. I would like to thank everyone, some of the names I saved are Ahmed, Gokhan, Mehmet, Seda, Merve, Husayn, Bahar, Savaş, two similar looking brothers, the guy who came up to help with window and most of all Firat, who replied to any questions I had regarding booking and had our transfer arraged at a reasonable price which was my main concern as the ones I found online quoted ridiculous amount. This hotel is not just an average renovation of any old building it's a masterpiece of restoration (everyone involved- ellinize sağlik) the doors, the keys, (impressive keys) antique furniture, interesting artwork display and the ceilings, stairs, courtyard, terrace, all adds to it's palatial grandeur. Views from the terrace are so captivating I didn't want to go anywhere else! if there was a swing on the terrace I would have spent most of my time there! (Maybe next time) No faults found, everything was excellent.
