This is a beautiful property (even with the renovation of the pool that many reviewers have mentioned), but it seems not be a hotel. Rather, it seems owners of units have hired a management company to admit guests who have rented units, kind of like a time share. That's why there is but one concierge and several parking valets. There is no restaurant/room service and no staff, but our unit had everything we needed for its kitchen. (Pro tip: the last grocery store is a Wynn Dixie near the bridge as you come into the island. The good news is that we had a wonderful view and our room was especially comfortable. It was however showing the beginning signs of wear and tear - small stains on a chair, some darkening grout in the bathroom, stain around drain in the sink, etc. The TV's software did not allow for Iphone mirroring, and the archaic internet browser warned that there was no connection with the Google dinosaur! No Netflix, or Amazon Prime...We had to watch an important baseball game on or phones. When I went to the lobby, the concierge could only give me the reservations phone number, but did offer to send a valet to have a look at the TV! Guests do have beach privileges along with towels, chairs, etc. In spite of the small short comings, it was perfect for our 4th of July celebration; watching the fireworks from the comfort of our 10th floor balcony was wonderful. The proximity to local restaurants is especially convenient. If you understand that this property offers service like a time share rather than a luxury hotel, you won't be disappointed, especially if it is competitively priced. (You can compare the Hilton next door.) It also has adjoining rooms if you want to bring friends/family.

When I booked Pelican Pointe hotel, I knew it was an older property so I wasn't expecting anything grand, plus the price was super affordable! When we first arrived, the room was very spacious for my family of 5. It was like a semi suite, kitchen was separated from the beds but not closed off. It had 2 doubles and a futon fold out in the kitchen/dining area. It was clean but had a funky smell, having a small well stocked kitchen with fridge and microwave was useful. At first glance it was nice, the location is amazing, right across the street from Clearwater Beach and complimentary parking which is a bonus (I hate having to pay extra for parking, so that was really great considering the price). I thought we really scored with this find, until.....my son saw a gigantic bug in the bathroom, it turned out to be a cockroach!!! EEEEWWWWW!!!! Throughout our stay we saw a few more big roaches and a ton of baby roaches everywhere. We were scared to turn off the lights because as soon as you did, the roaches came out to play, really gross and a major turn-off!!!! We slept with the lights on needless to say. We didn't bother to say anything because if there are roaches in this room, chances are the entire hotel has it! If it wasn't for the roaches, I would definitely recommend this hotel but I would never go back after seeing those nasty bugs. The hotel needs to fumigate and get rid of those roaches!!!!

Review: I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager. There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused. With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back. When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen. This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.

Nous avons récemment séjourné à GallerieOne - DoubleTree par Hilton à Fort Lauderdale pendant quatre nuits, et en général, il a été une expérience décente avec quelques hauts et bas. Pros: La location est excellente proche de la plage et des centres commerciaux, ce qui le rend très confortable pour une vacance. La chambre était spacieuse, que nous appréciions. Le personnel de la chambre était bien placé; nous sommes arrivés tôt, et le récepteur nous a permis de vérifier à l'avance, ce dont nous sommes très reconnaissants. Cons : Bien que notre personnel de garde-fous soit très doux, la qualité de nettoyage n'a pas satisfait à la norme attendue d'une propriété Hilton et pourrait être utile pour une amélioration. La piscine n'était pas bien entretenue, c'était sale quand nous sommes arrivés, et malgré notre séjour de quatre jours, elle n'a jamais été nettoyée. Globalement, alors que la localisation et la taille des chambres étaient excellentes, les aspects de maintenance et de maintenance doivent être pris en compte pour satisfaire aux normes habituelles élevées de Hilton.

Las instalaciones son bastantes buenas para el valor que cobran. La habitación es muy amplia. Pero ojo, si tienes el sueño liviano ni pienses en quedarte aquí. Los aviones pasan cada tres minutos muy cerca del hotel y se escucha sus motores. Si tienes el sueño pesado esté este es tu hotel. Es el mejor en relación precio calidad en Miami. Lo que así a nosotros nos tocó unos desubicados en la pieza de arriba que metieron ruido toda la noche. Pero eso no es responsabilidad del hotel.

Appartement large, bien situé, a une grande télévision, grand réfrigérateur, le lit était confortable. Il y avait des tasses, des plats, couverts dans la cuisine. Le désavantage est que le lavabo de la salle de bain ne coulait pas bien. Vue belle à la chaîne.

Il n'a jamais été dit que la réception a été fermée et réapercée jusqu'à 8 h 30, donc si vous devez vérifier personne ne sait que la chambre était en bonnes conditions, vous quittez, et vous ne serez pas facturé pour rien. Le petit déjeuner est à un endroit différent de l'hôtel à environ un kilomètre et demi et si vous n'avez pas de voiture, vous devez marcher ou commander un uber.

L'endroit était très agréable, avec une vue magnifique. Si je devais mentionner quelques points, je dirais qu'il y a des réparations à faire au niveau des cloisons sèches, quelques meubles un peu bancals et le robinet de la salle de bain légèrement desserré. Un peu d'attention à l'esthétique serait un plus, cela vous permettrait d'en avoir davantage pour votre argent. Mis à part cela, c'était super. Voilà mon avis, étant donné que je travaille dans le bâtiment. Merci pour ce séjour et pour nous avoir permis de profiter pleinement de votre maison.
