I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. This hotel is located in the centre of Hobart, only a few minutes away from the pier and the Travel and Information Centre. Its architecture is exquisite, the staff is welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Its rooms are well-decorated and comfortable. I spent one week there and I would gladly go back. Additionally, stop 1 of the Airport SkyBus is right next to the hotel.

La chambre a un chauffage et un chauffage chaud. J'espère que le magasin pourra chauffer préalablement, parce que le temps est trop froid. La chambre est grande, la salle de bain est grande, mais la chambre est très petite, très difficile. La chambre est construite sur le terrain, le chemin sera bruyant, même si quelqu'un marche dehors de la porte entendra.

it was our first time family holiday trip in Tasmania. Restaurant breakfast was very good. wait staff was very friendly . i meet the executive chef at restaurant he is a very nice man. may be we will visit this place soon again. special thanks for restaurant wait staff.

Hotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows! Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!

The room is clean and well-organized, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean with hot water available, and the air conditioning works well. There are no issues with noise, making it a great choice for those who spend most of their time outside and need a convenient place to rest and shower. The location is good and easily accessible, offering great value for the price.

Location is superb. Stay was amazing. Loved the view from hotel (you can see mt wellington from balcony). Free parking tip: If you are travelling over weekend. Park in a street behind. You’ll get ample free parking.
