I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

My first night at the hotel was fantastic, setting a positive tone for my stay. The second night brought a few challenges—minimal bathroom ventilation, a louder air conditioner, and some trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. However, the hotel staff were attentive and promptly offered me a new room, which resolved these issues and provided a much smoother experience.
I took advantage of the fitness center, though navigating the new treadmills was a bit tricky since they weren’t pre-programmed. While the pool closure was disappointing, the hotel acknowledged my concerns and generously offered me a complimentary dinner with a drink.
On the third night, I accidentally left my car keys behind when heading out in the morning. Upon returning, my key card didn’t work, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Later, I relaxed in my room, appreciating the view despite a minor inconvenience with a broken curtain rod. Once again, the hotel addressed my concerns with care, granting me a complimentary night and a refund as a gesture of goodwill.
While the hotel has room for improvement with its facilities, the staff truly stood out with their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine efforts to ensure my comfort. Their dedication turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that left me feeling valued. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

InvitéAllez à New Haven pour un cours d'étude à l'Université Yale, l'école recommande l'hébergement de l'hôtel. En général, il devrait être très bon local. Bien sûr, il semblerait que l'hôtel était un peu plus ancien que dans le pays, mais je vais bien. Certaines photos du quartier de la porte de l'hôtel sont belles. Je suis aussi venue voir la mariée de la mariée avant l'église, prête à monter les voitures traditionnelles

Le gars de la réception est super, le service est sympa, l'environnement de l'hôtel est bon et il est proche du casino. L'hôtel dispose d'une blanchisserie et d'un parking gratuits. Le service de réservation de Ctrip est bon et pratique.

This hotel is in immediate need of reinvestment. It was built in the 50's and it looks like in the rooms that was the last time any money was spent. You have a small in the window air conditioner unit. The two night stand lights did not work. The safe did not work. The hair dryer did not work but the front desk provided a new one. The bathroom sink was stained or dirty. To flush the toilet you have to stand there and hold the flipper down until the toilet completes flushing. The ironing board had been bent at some time in its history so it sloped down went set up. There was no elevator so you carry your belongings up an old metal outside staircase to the second floor.
This hotel is in an excellent location and the exterior looks wonderful. But I would recommend that you stay elesewhere.

Utilisateur anonymeThe hotel was quiet and felt safe. I requested a handicapped room by the elevator( ahead of time) since I would not have my mobile chair or walker in the hotel. My room ended up being almost all the way down the hall, which meant I only came out when necessary. It would have been nice to be close enough to enjoy the restaurant, coffee bar, breakfast or the pool but everything was just too far. The casino was only three miles away and that is where I rented a scooter for getting around. Overall, staff was nice, the room was comfortable and the walk in shower was nice. The is no Concierge to help with luggage and luggage carts are minimal. This review only has some lower ratings because of being a handicapped traveler. If my ability were not an issue, this hotel would be sufficient.

L'hôtel est près de l'Université Yale, à pied, l'hôtel est pratique pour garer et il y a beaucoup de choix de repas autour. La chambre sur la route, le bruit de l'automobile est un peu élevé la nuit, les personnes qui ne dorment pas auraient un certain impact.

InvitéI loved the scenery. It was a lovely location and the house-in-the-woods character was well developed from the outside. I didn't feel the interiors were up to par though. I was staying in sunnyside which was a gorgeous house with a very rustic feel but the interiors felt very stuffy and dated. The staff, though friendly, could have been a bit more welcoming especially since it takes a long journey to get to that hotel. I don't feel the ammenities of the location, such as for example the breakfast situation or where we have access to (e.g. for a swim) were explained and there was little of it in the room itself.
It is a stunning venue though. they have much more they can do with it!

Qiuli JiCet hôtel est très propre et nouveau. L'emplacement est grand très proche de l'Université de Yale. Il y a une salle de blanchisserie au 6ème étage, qui est super convenable. Le personnel du bureau frontal était chaud et bienvenu. Je resterais certainement ici la prochaine fois!
