LOCATION Excellent location. In the immediate vicinity of the market, and a few blocks' walk from 82nd/84th and 27th Streets, where you'll find street food for dinner. The OK Express minibus company (for Bagan, among other destinations) is a 5-minute walk away. Palace and pagodas are easily accessible by bicycle. SERVICE Excellent welcome, despite arriving at dawn. Excellent customer service. They provide a lot of advice. Excellent work by the housekeeping teams in the rooms and the restaurant. Excellent attention from the night watchmen. The sign at the entrance sums it all up: ”It's not a hotel, it's your home.” ENVIRONMENT Quiet and safe neighborhood. A very good quality hotel, well laid out, and very well maintained. Quality furnishings. Spotlessly clean. ROOM Standard double room: Sufficient space for one person, perhaps a little small for two. Bright. Well laid out. Mirror in the bedroom. Very good quality bedding. Clean, good quality linens. Spacious and clean bathroom. Hot water with good pressure. Good air conditioning. Very good Wi-Fi. Well-placed electrical outlets. The only thing missing was a dedicated space for luggage. BREAKFAST Depending on the number of guests, breakfast is served à la carte or buffet-style. À la carte: one dish of your choice, one drink of your choice (unlimited tea and coffee), one piece of fruit. For this option, given the abundance of fruit available in Myanmar, I would suggest offering an unlimited fruit salad. Buffet: Adequately stocked. Hot dishes, fruit, bread, and drinks. The restaurant is on the rooftop on the 4th floor. Airy and bright, it offers a beautiful view of the city. AMENITIES/SERVICES OFFERED *The room had a hairdryer, an electric kettle, and a small minibar refrigerator. *Bottled water, tea, and coffee were provided. Water dispensers were also available at reception. *Luggage was stored before and after check-in. *Free use of bicycles was available. This was a very popular option that made it easy to get around and explore the surrounding area. *The hotel has a generator, ensuring a continuous power supply. *Bus ticket booking service. A quick note regarding booking bus tickets to Bagan: 2 options: - JJ Express bus. The ticket costs 55,000 MMK if purchased directly from the company, versus 66,000 MMK through the hotel, which is 10% more expensive. - OK Express minibus. The ticket costs 45,000 MMK through the hotel. All locals paid 30,000 MMK directly in the minibus. Price not verified for foreigners. In conclusion, Good value for money. Highly recommended. Already saved to my favorites. This is clearly the kind of hotel every traveler would love to find. Price offered live for a standard double room with breakfast [May 2026] = 85,000 MMK.

The staff—including the receptionist, bellboy, restaurant crew, and bartenders—were all very kind and helpful. The room was good, but the bathroom toiletries were old and mostly expired (especially the shaving cream). They really need to replace these items. Also, I loved the 6th-floor restaurant, although the breakfast selection was quite limited.

High quality hotel in Mandalay. Breakfast buffet is great, especially Shan noodles and chai tea. Coffee was not good, gave up after 3 days and switched to Chai. Not sure if it was the beans or the milk but just didn't taste right. Fruit buffet could have more choice. Add bananas, mango, longan or jackfruit. Shan noodles were great but wouldbe good to have Mohinga as well. Pool was nice with kids. Very secure area.

Location, amazing. Ambiance, great. While the service and staff are excellent, but sadly the place is under maintenance. Perhaps it was because of significant reduction of guests in Bagan. Breakfast was good. Room services was good. The hotel graciously allowed us to check in early, but I found that the toilet and towels were not cleaned properly. I alerted the front desk and they immediately cleaned the room. Another issue related to the toilet was the permanent stain on the wall and floor, and also the very low water pressure. For that price and the cleanliness, I got a bit frustrated.

Красивый чистый отель с бассейном на берегу реки, расположен в стороне от всего поэтому куда-то сходить доехать далеко, а так за счёт своей удалённости спокойной тишина красиво, в отеле можно электровелосипед взять напрокат, от ресепшена до домиков возят на электромобилях, в номере каждый день прибираются, постель, полотенце меняют, кофе приносят. Персонал дружелюбный, есть ресторанчик в отеле но цены в 4-5 раз выше чем в любом кафе вокруг и еда так себе. Горячая вода в душе есть. В общем хорошее место если хотите просто в тишине спокойствии провести время, а если нужно более активный отдых куда-то ходить ездить отсюда придётся на такси куда-нибудь добираться и потом уже ходить ездить или брать электровелосипед

The location isn't close to shops and restaurants but the view nearby is breathtaking. Riding an e-bike around by myself is one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The room is beautiful and perfectly decorated, very friendly staff but some facilities are a bit old. The shower doesn't have hot water sometimes. Breakfast is very good but the restaurant is a bit pricy and not very tasty, not recommended.

Расположение отеля очень удачное: мы пешком ходили и к королевскому дворцу, и смотреть все прочие достопримечательности. Ну а когда мы нанимали тук-тук, чтобы ездить по пригородам, то по большому счету все равно, откуда вас забирают. Вокруг масса магазинов, торгующих текстилем, много забегаловок, на соседней улице большая фруктовая лавка, кроме того, на соседней же улице стояло несколько грузовиков, которые торговали дурианом по бросовой цене (в сравнении с Таиландом). В шаговой доступности есть дрогерии COCO и AEON, где по довольно невысокой цене можно купить и лапшу/рис, и ассорти фруктов, и местные специалитеты. При этом место довольно тихое, нам в номере было комфортно. Номер средних размеров, уютный, есть кондиционер, чайник, сейф. Каждый день кладут заварку, кофе, но почему-то не кладут расходники в ванной, хотя коробка под них стоит. Уборка и смена полотенец каждый день, белье меняли каждые 2 дня. Единственное, к чему могу придраться - так это то, что горничные не очень внимательны, в ванной закончилось мыло и гель, а поскольку они не проверяли емкости, то пришлось пнуть. В один из дней пришли в 16 - номер не убран, тоже пнули. Почему-то нет таблички ”не беспокоить”, и на следующее утро к нам в номер вломилась горничная, хорошо, что мы оба были в ванной и дверь была закрыта на цепочку. Вечером в 20.00 выключают свет, ровно на пару минут, потом включают. Довольно слабенький инет. Предупредили, что в последний день будет рано выезжать - приготовили ланч-бокс и даже воду не забыли. Помогли с заказом тук-тука для того дня, что мы планировали смотреть старые столицы, вели переговоры с тук-тукером. Очень милые и приветливые.

Excellent stay here & extended one extra day in Bagan. Staffs are super friendly & helpful, it’s inside the bagan pagodas & backyard is Irrawaddy river, quiet & pewceful. Very thankful that they let me check in earlier at 7.30am & upgraded my room to suite. I had the most wonderful time staying here in Bagan! Highly recommended!!!
