I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Avantages : L'emplacement est excellent, ce qui permet d'explorer facilement la ville. Le personnel était sympathique et attentionné, et la chambre était généralement agréable et confortable. Inconvénients : Les fenêtres de la chambre ne pouvaient pas être ouvertes. L'un des lits semblait manquer d'une couche de draps par rapport à l'autre, ce qui était étrange et légèrement inconfortable. Le mini-réfrigérateur n'était pas assez froid, ce qui rendait difficile la conservation des boissons et des collations au frais. De plus, la climatisation s'arrêtait périodiquement d'elle-même, ce qui était gênant et affectait le confort général. Dans l'ensemble, bien qu'il y ait eu quelques points positifs, plusieurs domaines doivent être améliorés pour améliorer l'expérience des clients.

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon prix pour l'endroit et ce que c'est. Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver un hôtel correspondant au moment de la réservation, mais cela s'avère être une bonne décision et un bon séjour.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina

Mercure Birmingham west hotel is easy to locate, easy to check in, I and my husband loves the facilities, the pool, the gym, steam room and sauna, it was my first experience in the steaming room, the jacuzzi spa was amazing, the hotel is neat, I try to change my room but there were lot of guest, I was communicated to about it and it was clear, we love the services including the amazing breakfasts buffet 🥰🥰

En général, un bon hôtel mais quelques plaquettes étaient dans la piscine qui n'était pas agréable mais le personnel sortait de la façon directe.

Choisir cet hôtel était une excellente décision. Son emplacement est idéal, à proximité de nombreux commerces. L'accueil était excellent et le personnel a accepté que je prolonge mon séjour d'une nuit. Le parking souterrain propose un tarif raisonnable pour 24 heures. Les chambres étaient très confortables et le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel, avec un choix impressionnant. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec le théâtre Hippodrome et la gare de New Street, tous deux accessibles en seulement 5 minutes à pied. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable. Nous avons eu un problème avec la climatisation dans notre première chambre, mais on nous a rapidement proposé une autre chambre. Le petit-déjeuner était bon et offrait un choix suffisant pour satisfaire tous les goûts et tous les besoins.

Emplacement idéal pour un week-end à Birmingham. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la piscine et le sauna, qui étaient propres et bien entretenus. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.
