The hotel has beautiful grounds and super friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Stayed in an executive room which was clean with a four poster bed. The AC in winter time was a welcome addition and the fact that it was switched on before I checked in was thoughtful. In general, these rooms could do with a bit of general maintenance - ceilings look old and worn and it was really difficult to open and close the door. Breakfast catered to all tastes. For a stay in Modimolle, Shangri-La is a good choice.

The reception desk was hardly manned and would struggle to get hold of anyone on the phone ( even when I was calling from my room). My bed cover was not clean, it had dirty stains on it including tiny blood stains on top. The room and the bed were lovely and spacious but the shower door wouldn’t close completely and caused a lot of water spillage on the floor. During load shedding, the lights would go off and the hotel staff would take long to switch on the generator ; long enough to cause a panic attack! which was unacceptable as they should follow the load shedding timetable and always be on standby and make sure that the generator kicks in as soon as the lights go off.

Ma fille a été refusée d'accéder à sa chambre parce que l'hôtel ne prendrait pas une preuve de paiement Wechat (Chine) et lui a fait payer de nouveau pour la même réservation dans les rands sud-africains.

the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay.
when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience.

CCMVX9Exquisite location with such friendly staff that stand at the ready to help and cater to every whim. Booking a regular room is recommended as the larger room has a door which borders the main guest area. As such, it is extremely noisy. This room also looks out on the main patio with no inner curtains with the result that there’s no privacy. A regular room offers the same level of comfort, but with added privacy on the deck area and its further away from the main guest area which offers peace and quiet. All rooms look out onto a beautiful valley with proverbial four poster beds shaped as elephant tusks. The only negative were the old, lumpy pillows, which need urgent replacement. The chef cooks traditional African meals which were delicious, but for this type of venue, needs perhaps a bit more finesse in terms of having better options for a continental breakfast and enquiring with guests as to how they would prefer their meat cooked beforehand. A word of warning to coffee lovers, there’s only instant coffee, so better go and enjoy the hospitality armed with your own!

UUtilisateur anonyme剛剛結束🔚在臘腸樹Safari Camp的美好三天，不得不説這是非常難忘的一次經歷。臘腸樹位於巴盧萊私人保護區，位置卓越，景色秀美，離Hoedspruit機場很近，營地所有員工都非常友善、慷慨、熱情和熱情，很是專業，讓我們有賓至如歸的感覺同時，與大自然和各種生物有了親密的近距離接觸，同行的荷蘭小夥伴們都是sososoooo nice，暖心而又愉快的經歷。
不得不説下營地的嚮導司機Themba和Lite，野生動物追蹤技巧非常高超，為人熱情，驚人地讓我看到了Big 5，集齊了非洲五霸，早上的Safari很神奇，親眼目睹了獅羣圍獵野狗羣的難得場景🎬，驚險刺激，野狗屬於瀕危物種，其中一衹小狗由於方向誤判，很可惜的被獵殺了。克魯格公園就是大自然的一個掠影，這就是自然，自然界的動物們也各有各的生存奧義。此外在司機和嚮導的帶領下，還看到了罕見的黑犀牛母子，來了個懟臉的大眼瞪小眼，實在是太難忘了。另外營地旁邊的飲水池也可以有各種動物來喝水，看到了羚羊 長頸鹿🦒等等。
還得一提的是營地的工作人員還貼心的準備了暖水袋，真是太暖心了。想説的有很多，總結就是這是很值得來體驗的一個地方。我想我還會再次歸來！

HHAL9000xC'est la première étape de notre voyage en Afrique du Sud, et il est encore très méprisable de se rappeler.
C'est un hôtel de ce genre à Kruger, vraiment plus que prévu.
Au début, je pensais que l'image de l'hôtel était très belle. Je ne pensais pas que la position était superbe. Je peux souvent voir les petits animaux marcher lentement dehors de la cage. L'expérience est très spéciale. (Comfortablement oublié de prendre plus de photos hahaha)
Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont très délicieux, la nourriture est soigneuse, complètement inconfortable.
Les employés ont également une attitude très amicale et honnête, qui donne le sentiment qu'ils sont pris en charge plutôt que servis.
Le propriétaire de l'hôtel nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pratiques et décisifs, qui sont très utiles pour le voyage.
Le prix global est également très raisonnable et le rapport coût-efficacité est très élevé.
C'est là où on voudra retourner, très recommandé ! !

AAmyKingfisher Creek Safari Lodge was AMAZING! It was difficult to know where to book in this area and I couldn't have selected better. Annie is a world class host and the staff are wonderful. The lodge was clean, the amenities were top notch, the food was divine. Annie helped us book all of our activities including transfers and curated meals around our plans. The grounds are beautiful, all her products, lodging and food are high quality and I dream to return. A beautiful stay all around.

SSarahThis is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!

EElenapashTout était à un niveau élevé. Vous devez rencontrer une très belle zone de soins. Chambres confortables où tout était nécessaire. Thé, café, eau dans un accès illimité tout le temps. La chambre coûte deux safari. Notre guide (Sydney) a essayé de nous montrer le plus possible le monde sauvage divers de l'Afrique du Sud. Je voudrais dire, merci beaucoup, à la fille de la manager qui nous a rencontrés et qui était toujours prête à répondre à nos demandes et à résoudre nos problèmes. Nous serons heureux de vous revenir parce que vous nous avez donné des impressions inoubliables!
