Lovely place with peacocks roaming around. We had a wonderful stay but the washroom was bit a drawback. No shower curtains or shower head in the washroom. There was a stand in shower but unfortunately our shower doesn't had a good heating system, so we couldn't use it. Washrooms needs to be improved.

L'hôtel et la zone étaient fantastiques, mais le service à la table de front était insuffisant. Nous avons pris un long week-end et nous sommes enthousiastes de tenter le club de plage, mais notre expérience a été étouffe par le service. Il a été fait de rester à l'abri pendant 5 minutes, alors qu'il a été dit que nous n'avions pas payé (quand nous avions) était inutile et honnêtement embarrassant. Le restaurant était la partie la plus décevante de la résidence. Je suis le service de la soirée était lent, suivi par notre ordre erroné deux fois et aussi chuté. Le petit déjeuner au restaurant était insuffisant par rapport aux hôtels plus chers qui offrent le continent. Lorsque nous avons commandé un petit déjeuner cuit, il a fallu 30-40 minutes pour recevoir quelques œufs et panqueques, bien que le restaurant était assez calme. La chambre, les installations et le spa étaient fantastiques. Beauté et confortables. Le club de plage à l'extérieur était magnifique. Le spa était parfait et les traitements étaient, pour citer mon partenaire, «l'un des meilleurs massages de ma vie». Le service était très bon, mais pas ce que nous attendions d'un hôtel portuaire.

Previously emailed to ask if car parking available and was told yes, car parking on site, arrived to find no car parking and you have to park in a public car park (and pay) up the hill from the hotel. The manager did apologise and waived the £20 early check in fee . Was then advised the England match would be shown in the bar and drinks would be 3 for 2. Got back to the hotel to watch and take advantage to be told by the bar member that the tills were not working and because she couldn’t work out 30% off the drinks they were not offering any 3 for 2 and what did we want her to do about it. Unfortunately poor customer service which isn’t what I would expect and I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

L'hôtel est magnifique, une belle atmosphère et une position brillante. La chambre était grande, spacieuse, propre, un lit super-rôde massif, et les installations étaient bonnes quand j'ai découvert un gym de fond qui est vraiment bon. Cependant, comme voyageur fréquent qui aime la fonctionnalité, par rapport à ce que j'ai vu dans d'autres hôtels comme celui-ci, pour une chambre premium avec vue sur la mer, l'un des panneaux de fenêtres étaient bouillis et sales, de sorte que je ne pouvais pas apprécier pleinement la ” vue sur la mer”. Deuxièmement, pour une chambre à prix élevé, vous attendriez des biscuits, une bouteille d'eau, un réfrigérateur au minimum et des suppléments optionnels pour les chambres à prix élevés, je vois des robes de bain et des pantalons, mais l'hôtel n'en avait pas. A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks

Overall a great stay, receptionists were welcoming, although a little bit more effort could have gone into directing me to the room as the grounds are so big I got a little lost. On entering the building where my room was located the carpet definitely needs to be upgraded, my room was nice and clean. It had a sink, and an ironing board and iron which I was very impressed with, it also had two wardrobes one with a kettle on top and one with hangers inside. The grounds are lovely, the garden is spectacular, it would be a perfect setting for a wedding. The staff in White Hart are lovely and the customer service provided by them was great. (Two males) thank you. On the Friday they had a live band (male / female) singing the old classics for VE Day that was great. The food was also nice. I would defo stay here again.

Nous avons séjourné pendant une nuit seulement. La chambre était grande et propre. Le lit était confortable et nous avons dormi bien. Le parc de voiture était complètement plein à 15 h 30 ... et le personnel qui nous a vérifié n'aurait pas pu se soucier moins !

Réservé deux chambres pour un séjour familial. Il a été le week-end le plus chaud de mai ! La chambre congelée de l'autre cuisine. Les chambres ont été très diverses, mais j'ai choisi la même chambre spacieuse et airée, l'autre un peu plus crampée. On m'a dit de m'avoir vérifié à partir de 3h et nous n'avons pas été autorisés jusqu'à 4.30 ce qui compliquait nos plans. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais super occupé. Pas assez de personnel pour gérer la demande. Bien, très bien, très bien.

For a 4 star hotel this was very disappointing. Only 1 person on reception and a queue of people waiting to be checked in. A very tired hotel that has been not been well maintained. Our room was disappointing, a balcony we couldn't use, a double bed that felt like I was sliding out of it all night as the mattress was worn and had gone soft on my side of the bed, an uncomfortable toilet as the seat was too small for the toilet. Many other small things as well, we expected better.

The Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel. Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better. Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though. Overall great stay would recommend and return.
