We booked a room here on our honeymoon tour around Scotland and it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed at in the country. Not only did the staff work so professionally, they were also so personable. As a treat for our honeymoon, the staff gave us a gift of chocolates in our room when we arrived with a honeymoon card, as well as a dessert when dining in the restaurant. The restaurant was one of our highlights, if you are staying in the hotel do not miss it. The food was delicious, very well seasoned, and presented beautifully. Moreover, the staff in the restaurant were also so helpful, giving suggestions and recommendations and giving attention to us without being overbearing. The room looked out over the lawn with the towns cathedral in the distance. There was both a bath and a shower, the television was modern with a clean image, there were plenty of free coffees, teas and snacks in the room, and the bed was very comfy indeed. Don’t miss breakfast! The great food from the dinner in the restaurant remains during breakfast time too! I will be returning. This is a very special hotel.

J'ai séjourné dans un hôtel de type château, qui était autrefois une école. Une famille de quatre personnes avait une chambre familiale. Les enfants aimaient beaucoup les lits superposés. Ils avaient leur propre espace indépendant et une télévision. L'hôtel proposait de nombreux thés Tangning différents. et une baignoire séparée, mais c'était tellement... Ce qui m'a rendu nerveux, c'est que l'eau du robinet était très grande une fois l'eau ouverte, de l'eau a accidentellement débordé sur le sol de la salle de bain. le sol de la salle de bain n'avait pas de trous de drainage car il s'agissait d'une rénovation historique. J'ai dû utiliser rapidement une serviette de bain pour l'absorber dans le lavabo. Il est recommandé aux hôtels de fournir des rappels lors de l'enregistrement ou de placer des rappels dans la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner était un petit-déjeuner écossais standard et dans l'ensemble, ce fut un excellent séjour.

L'hôtel est très confortable et le restaurant est très confortable. Nous avons reçu un fan de poussière et brisé pour combattre la chaleur, mais malheureusement personne ne s'est excusé quand nous l'avons amené au personnel que nous devions laisser la fenêtre ouverte toute la nuit pour essayer de combattre la chaleur. Je sais que ce n'était pas la faute des individus, mais un bon service à la clientèle parlerait de pardon au client et aucun des 4 personnes dont nous parlions n'a fait une excuse et ils semblaient aussi désorientés.

Inside the Stirling university which is a nice and quiet environment, but it requires travelling to the city centre. There is no restaurant which opens for dinner except that in the hotel. The original room on ground floor given to us has a strong odour smell, which did not disappear after cleaning by housekeeping team. The reception initially refused to change the room. Only after we insisted then we were given another room on the first floor, but it wasted us almost 1.5 hour in waiting. Otherwise, everything is very good including the excellent breakfast.

It was a lovely stop over on the way to the highlands and was dog friendly which was excellent, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, it was in a beautiful location , highly recommended
