Very unique hotel love the buddhism vibe to the hotel. Near to Thamel yet in a quiet corner. Staffs are friendly and love the breakfast and complimentary cup of latte or cuppucino everyday! Nice view from the rooftop too!

Baudha Apart Hotel The Air is much cleaner at these heights. A lovely view to be seen from the roof top upon the city down below. There is a room up there, for yoga, for exercise, or meditation. An elevator takes you there, but you can climb the stairs, if you wish, especially to prepare for a mountain trek – there is an ample storage room in that regard. Boudha Apart is owned by a Sherpa family, originally from Lukla, so there are many good contacts with the high mountain community. The hotel is fairly new, and that means nothing is broken. That is to say also, that it is well maintained, that the guests are not a rowdy sort, and they are mindful of each other's tranquility. The rooms are well thought out, and many have a sun facing balcony. Both sink and shower have abundant hot water, adjustable as you like. On the ground floor is a large restaurant, with a diverse menu of local cuisine, and western comfort foods. The basement is a parking garage for cars and bikes. The staff is of good cheer, and supportive of your adventures and plans. They, most conveniently, pick up and deliver to the airport. There is also a car and driver for various tours, as you will. And finally to say, the price to value is most fair, as one compares to other hotels in the region.

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love. Namaste, 🙏🏼.

The hotel isn’t in a touristy area, so there’s not much to see around, but that also means it’s quiet and only about 10–15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and comfy with a nice view, and the rooftop infinity pool was amazing — perfect spot for couples to chill and enjoy the sunset. The restaurant was okay, and the staff were super nice and helpful. The gym is small but has enough equipment for a quick workout. I also tried their massage service — really good and great value for money. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Great choice if you want somewhere peaceful but still convenient!

The hotel itself was overall fine and met expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness. However, the breakfast left quite a bit to be desired. The bakery items did not feel fresh, especially the pastries, which seemed to be a few days old. This was noticeable and unfortunately affected the overall breakfast experience. Additionally, it was surprising that a cappuccino made with a proper coffee machine was not included and required an extra charge. Considering the already high room rate, this felt a bit disappointing and unnecessary. While the stay was generally pleasant, these details slightly took away from the overall experience.

After several trips to Nepal, I finally decided to treat myself with a stay at the famous Kathmandu Guest House. So glad I did. So much peace, grace, charm and beauty .. and of course, the history!

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

清潔でよいホテルですが、窓が開きません。それはかなり息苦しく耐えられないものでした。 ホテルにキャンセルを申し込みまましたが、キャンセル時間の前なのにできないと言われ仕方なく宿泊することに…他の部屋ならバルコニーがあると言われて、18000も多く払うことになりました。 一度キャンセルして、その部屋を取り直ししたかったのですが叶いませんでした。よけいに高く支払うことになり残念な旅行になりました。ホテルとサイトの連携が全く機能していないのが残念です。

La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et impecablement propre, offrant un retour parfait après de longues journées d'exploration. La location est absolument fantastique – juste au centre-ville, ce qui a fait incroyablement confortable de marcher et de faire des courses pour les biens locaux dans la ville. Ce que j'aimais particulièrement était la proximité de plusieurs restaurants chinois à proximité, tous offrant de délicieux aliments à des prix très raisonnables. Le personnel a fait de notre expérience une expérience particulière. Ils étaient amis. Ils étaient gentils pour stocker notre bagage pendant que nous allions sur notre EBC tréc.

The stay was great, to say the least. We actually decided to extend our as our plans changed and looked no further. The staff were very flexible with our late night flight and the ensuing late check-out and assisted us price-wiae. The hotel is truly a boutique one. Breakfast is nice. We didn't need much anyway, so for us, it was much more than we needed. There is a slight variation on a daily basis. The cleaning lady cleans the room impeccably on a daily basis. In general, if you need anything, the staff are accommodating and always ready to help. Locatio- wise, the hotel is somewhat further away from the noise of Thamel and other touristy areas but close enough to places of interest. Last but not least, we arrived later than scheduled, so the meet and greet service , which came free, was super handy.
