Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Balai Balatong is located inside a barangay and has kubo/hut theme with a touch of modern elegance. The rooms are well designed and are really clean.
We were lucky to book the place for our own on that day as it is a weekday for a very inexpensive price. We got the pool and entire place literally for our own for a day which is great! It could be priced double or triple for its current state of the rooms.
As the place is relatively new, just opened last 2024, there is no in house reception available. Works like an airbnb. No in house-resto yet. These two might be the reasons why they are holding on to pricing the rooms higher. Would have given them a perfect rating if these are available. There is a good restaurant though just in front of the place called Pha Ramen which is an aesthetically good restaurant serving good Pinoy dishes (and accepts credit cards).
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight the next day and they were able to arrange for our transfer to the airport.
We will surely come back!

Beautiful old Filipino house remodeled. The only downside is that everything is wood, including the walls, and you can hear others. Having said that, it was not very noisy.

Location 180 is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. It is very minimalistic and has a nice cozy garden which allows for nice quiet mornings. It's a basic room with a private toilet and bath and it is kept very clean. Our host, Jeff, was very accommodating and friendly and was very easy to deal with. I'd say its good value for money.

UUtilisateur anonymeDecided to try Chalaroste despite the comments wherein the bathroom stinks, daming langaw, sira lock ng door, etc. and it was not a regret that we booked this resort because it was amaaaazing! we availed the standard room.
It has tv, mini ref, toiletries (towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), water heater since may coffee and creamer provided, bottled water. lahat yan is good for 2 na. mabango rin ung cr sa loob ng room, no issues at all. May wifi rin!
Complete na rin sa common kitchen, no worries na mag aagawan since they provided lots of plates kalderos and the like, lulutuin na lang dalhin.
Mabato ung beach but the infinity pool did not disappoint! Ang ganda lalo na sa gabi. May signage na u can use the pool until 9 or 10 pm yata but the staff let us swim there until 1 am. There are tables near the pool which overlooks the beach na maganda mag chill! Pet friendly also ❤️
Overall, I loved the place! It felt like the price was too cheap for such a resort that has a complete amenities. Literal na sarili mo na lang at pagkain dalhin mo.

IInvitéOne of the best accommodation we have ever experienced! when we arrived we have been greeted with a smile by Ms. May and her staff in their cozy cafe and the paper for checking has been prepared. We were informed with every detail for the activity that are available at the location. Every time we have a request we are always being catered with a genuine bright smile. Note that there place is astoundingly beautiful, neat and clean. What you see on their photos are what exactly it is in person. Free breakfast are also so delish, there daing na Bangus is a must try! what makes an accommodation enjoyable is not just the place itself, but also the staff and the people that works in it, Big thanks to Ms. May for the service she and her team have provided, we remember every kindness and smile you have shared with us, you made our staycation memorable and would definitely comeback! hoping your place got the recognition it deserves soon!

NNoel MarcosOverall experience is very good with a few suggestions for improvement. The room rate is relatively lower. The facilities are new - freshly painted walls, spotless room, newly built restroom, cool aircon, and free parking. The staff are very friendly as well. The hotel location is still near Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, less than 10 minutes walk. There is a tight road going there and after the short bridge, the vicinity becomes residential and dimly lit at night. The hotel seems newly built and still lacks a few necessities in the family room: bidet, shower heater, shower partition/curtain. The wifi signal is strong in the hallways (at room 12) but very weak inside the room.
Overall, the hotel has a strong potential to be a perfect alternative to established hotels in Vigan if they can improve further.

J'ai demandé à un chalet de nous conduire autour de la ville, et ils ont dit oui, ils ont un contact qui viendrait nous chercher à l'heure convenue. Il a donc conseillé aux gens de l'hôtel de nous dire de se rendre au parc pour obtenir une calesa. Ce (service) aurait été 5/5 si on nous avait dit immédiatement que c'était la saison occupée, alors nous ne savons pas si quelqu'un peut vous chercher (et nous aurions pu nous conseiller de prendre une calesa dans le parc de Burger où il y a une station. Au-delà de cela, ils étaient excellents!

MMsklutzThe room was clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were kind and very generous they didn’t charge us extra even though we checked out later than the usual time. They were also very responsive to our concerns and queries. We were the only guests during our stay, so we had the whole house to ourselves, which truly felt like home. The place is close to Vigan City, although it can be a bit hard to find since it’s tucked away in a narrow area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again!

IInvitéLa location est bonne, mais pendant le séjour, la puissance a disparu le soir et il n'y avait pas de générateur de remontée disponible et il était un très, très chaud, nous devons rester dans le lobby frontal qui est ouvert et il y a beaucoup de moustiques. Lorsque la puissance est revenue après au moins 2 heures et nous étions prêts à dormir, beaucoup de rats courants/rats ont entendu parler de l'attaque.
