Prestation satisfaisante Cependant, la navette n'est évidemment pas suffisante. Elle ne peut partir qu'après neuf heures du matin (sinon il n'y a pas de connexion directe. Il est recommandé d'ajouter des bus supplémentaires.

The ryokan's location is strategic, just a 5-minute walk to Yubatake. Our stay was superb and amazing—the staff provided excellent service, and both the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The onsen was fantastic, though it is only available during selected hours and not 24/7. Additionally, there is a fee for the private onsen.

C'est la deuxième station de voyage de Maw Wen. À côté de la gare d'autobus, c'est très pratique. Le dîner est très riche et très délicieux. Les chambres et les installations chaudes sont très satisfaites.

J'ai envoyé un e-mail à l'avance pour réserver une voiture à Karuizawa, et tout s'est bien passé. La chambre était médiocre, toujours malodorante, le décor était vieillot et l'éclairage tamisé. Le dîner était catastrophique ; tout n'était pas délicieux, mais le petit-déjeuner était correct. L'une des trois salles de bain privées était en rénovation, la maison en pierre était couverte de toiles d'araignées et la forêt lumineuse était correcte, quoique un peu petite. Le service du vendeur était plutôt enthousiaste, mais il insistait parfois pour ne parler que japonais lorsque nous disions ne pas comprendre le japonais, ce qui donnait un sentiment d'incompétence face à notre incapacité à communiquer. On sent qu'ils sont beaucoup plus enthousiastes envers les clients japonais ; par exemple, les clients japonais à côté du dîner nous ont présenté les plats en détail, mais nous les avons déposés et sommes partis. Par exemple, un serveur remplissait du Yakult au petit matin. Après avoir posé nos questions, il nous a demandé de rester silencieux, mais il a continué à faire bang bang pour trier les produits. En bref, le rapport qualité-prix est médiocre et j'ai été assez déçu.

We love this place as it is convenient locate right beside the town. Good for walking around and shopping.  The food in the hotel is good.   Not to flexible  for frens birthday for cakes during dinner.  But the food is good. Excellent selections and types Oh the Onsen is very good

Nous vivons dans la maison de famille, dans le bâtiment principal, je vois la montagne de neige, je sors de la chambre pour faire un tour à l'entrée chaude. La chambre est grande, le chauffage est bon, pas très chaud, il y a un appareil de recharge dans la chambre. Il y a un confusion, vous pouvez utiliser les toilettes fournies par l'hôtel (sans besoin de louer, vous pouvez être placées dans la chambre pendant votre séjour), ou vous pouvez acheter dans le magasin, Mme 1100 yen, homme 550 yen, réutilisable. Il est très confortable de faire chaud à la montagne de neige. Il y a un bus depuis la mer légère jusqu'à l'hôtel, vous pouvez réserver un courrier, vous ne pouvez pas prendre un taxi sans réserver.********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** L'entrée du ski est à l'autre côté de la réception de l'hôtel. Vous pouvez acheter un billet de ski pour vous rendre à Trip.com. Si vous êtes en ski, vous pouvez passer au moins deux nuits.

We arrived early (about 11:00) at the ryokan and were met by a very helpful young lady receptionist who spoke good English. She accepted our luggage, arranged a ground floor room for us (my wife has difficulty climbing stairs) and recommended us where to eat and what to do. The room was clean and sizeable. The bed was comfortable. The ryokan provided a simple buffet breakfast (much to our surprise and delight).  It is located just a short distance from the Yubatake and is very convenient.  Overall, we are very happy with the ryokan. 

2nd stay at micasa after a 1st try in Sept 2023. Decided to come back in December, hoping to also try winter canyoning at Canyons, but not enough snow to do so. Anyway, the stay at Micasa was comfortable, warm, cosy and surprisingly the both meals were very good. I will come back next time and book the room with its own onsen tub. Can't wait for winter to be back again. Service is very good here.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay! We truly loved it and had a wonderful night surrounded by serene nature. The view was absolutely beautiful — the lake is just right in front of the hotel! The place is spotless and very well maintained. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. A big shoutout to Mr. Ozu, the General Manager, for going the extra mile with his thoughtfulness! When he learned that we were heading to the ropeway the next day (and that there were no bus trips on weekdays), he kindly offered us a ride. He was also genuinely concerned about our hike and overall safety — so heartwarming! Since we didn’t get the dinner package and there was only one restaurant nearby that closed at 4 p.m., we decided to get a takeout for dinner. My friend also asked if there was a nearby café to buy a cake for my birthday, but there wasn’t any. Later that evening, after we came back from the onsen, someone knocked on our door and surprised us with a complimentary cake! They said it was because we didn’t have dinner and they wanted to celebrate my birthday. Awwww! Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! 🎂💖 In the morning, Mr. Ozu even gave us taxi numbers and the bus schedule for Yumoto Onsen, making sure our travel plans went smoothly. Truly amazing hospitality — we felt so cared for and appreciated throughout our stay! 🌿✨

Overall staying in this hotel was pleasant, and it was of great value considering the package had already included dinner and breakfast buffet. Regarding location, it was a bit far from the bus terminal by walking. It took us about 15 minutes, as the route by Google was not quite correct. The main entrance of the hotel was up on a slope, which was not as easy as we were carrying luggage. Remember to ask the front desk for the password of the back gate. It was a short cut route leading to the main shopping street and the Kusatsu Yubatake. The room was pleasant and clean, a bit too basic. There was only a socket near the tv wall, not close to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. There was wide range of food in the buffet, with some interesting local dishes. Food was delicious. The hotel also offer free late night snack noodle, which worth trying too.
