1. Sélectionné parmi les 100 meilleurs hôtels thermaux du Japon 2. Je suis allé au Japon plus de dix fois et j'ai séjourné dans des hôtels avec des prix allant de 1K à 3K. Cet hôtel est de loin le plus satisfaisant. Le personnel du service de l'hôtel sourit toujours et s'incline chaleureusement lorsqu'il marche devant vous. Service professionnel et chaleureux, super. 3. Je recommande vivement la chambre de plus de 50 mètres carrés pour un lit et deux repas. La chambre était propre, la vue était superbe et le dîner était très attentionné. J'ai baigné quatre fois dans des sources chaudes, presque toutes réservées. Beau paysage 4. J'aime le château de Matsumoto. Les vendeurs des magasins de la ville sont très enthousiastes. Il y avait très peu de monde. Il y avait encore beaucoup de monde à Osaka, Tokyo et Kyoto lorsque j'y suis allé auparavant, j'avais l'impression que notre famille et quelques étrangers étaient les seuls dans la rue. From the moment you enter Kokuya Ryokan, be prepared to leave the real world behind and fully immerse yourself in the experience. The multi-course dinner will probably be one of the best meals you’ve had in your life, with many unusual textures and flavors to try. The futons are comfortable, and your room is kept toasty warm. There are even skincare products to keep you pampered and moisturized between soaks in the onsen. Honestly, you won’t even need to open your suitcase while you’re there. The staff will take you through all the logistics when you arrive, but there are some things that might be useful to know in advance. - The ryokan sends a shuttle to Yudanaka station at about 15:00 to collect new arrivals, so time your journey to take advantage of this benefit. - The ryokan also offers guests the opportunity to catch a shuttle to the Snow Monkey Park immediately after breakfast the next morning. - After you leave the ryokan, they will take your luggage down to the coffee shop opposite the station, so you don’t need to worry about those logistics. - Trains from Yudanaka back to Nagano leave at 12:30 and 15:30. - The ryokan itself has several private onsens that you can reserve for a 45-minute slot. Because the onsens are on the property, you can go in with your partner or travel companions regardless of gender. It’s a boutique hotel, so you don’t have to worry about not getting access to all the onsens you want. - The ryokan is on the main road of the Shibu Onsen town. The hotel will give you a key so you can wonder down the main road, visiting any of the public onsens you wish - however, with so many gorgeous and more private onsens in the hotel itself, you probably won’t have time or the desire for this. - Also, there is a coffee machine in the room! (I was worried about having to survive without coffee, and this turned out to be an unfounded concern). We had an incredible and totally indulgent time at Kokuya. Experiencing a traditional ryokan is a privilege that you should try at least once if you can. And adding the Snow Monkeys in give the trip a double purpose, making it that much more memorable. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if we had been allowed to linger longer over every course of our dinner.

Le couple ne parle pas anglais, mais grâce à un traducteur, nous avons pu communiquer. Il était difficile de trouver un restaurant ouvert dans le village après 18h. Vous pouvez facilement laisser vos bagages à l'hôtel après votre départ. Le parc des singes des neiges est facilement accessible à pied, même s'il se trouve à plus de 3 km. 📍 Hotel Keigetsu 信州昼神温泉郷 日長庵 桂月 @ Hirugami Onsen, Nagano 🇯🇵 We stayed 3D2N from 13 November 2025 at Hotel Keigetsu (日長庵 桂月), and it turned out to be one of the best choices for our Nakasendo trip. The ryokan sits in a peaceful corner of Hirugami Onsen, surrounded by nature and traditional Japanese charm. There is a designated parking area exclusively for guests, accommodating around 15-20 cars of all sizes, making it very convenient for self-drive travellers. We chose a Japanese-style room with a private bathroom, and the highlight was the beautiful wooden bathtub — perfect for a relaxing soak in complete privacy. In the mornings, the view from our room was calm and peaceful, with gentle bird chirping adding to the serene atmosphere. Our stay included breakfast and dinner, and both meals were exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared using seasonal ingredients, and the servers were patient and friendly, taking time to explain each course and share stories about local flavours. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the dining experience. The ryokan is within walking distance to the Morning Market, just about 10 minutes away, making it an enjoyable little morning stroll. There is also a FamilyMart right beside the ryokan, just a short walk away — extremely convenient for drinks, snacks, or last-minute essentials during your stay. The staff also introduced several nearby activities and hiking trails, and the routes are super visitor-friendly, making this ryokan an ideal base for exploring the Nakasendo area. The onsen baths were another highlight — soothing, clean, and filled with Hirugami’s famously smooth, skin-friendly hot spring water. Perfect for unwinding every evening. Overall, Hotel Keigetsu offers excellent food, warm service, relaxing onsen, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable convenience, whether you’re here for onsen relaxation or the Nakasendo trail. Highly recommended for a peaceful, authentic, and memorable ryokan stay in Nagano. ♨️🍁🌿✨

Emplacement : Proche de la gare de Karuizawa (environ 15 min à pied de l'hôtel ouest) et à 10 min à pied du centre commercial. Navette de 5 min pour rejoindre le domaine skiable. Chambre : Propre et confortable. Cependant, le produit pour le bain a une odeur similaire à celle du détergent pour toilettes. Commodités : Un Family Mart est ouvert jusqu'à 23h00 dans l'hôtel ouest. Service : La réceptionniste ne parle pas bien anglais et la communication est difficile. Le personnel du vestiaire est peu aimable. Service de navette : Un service de navette est assuré dans la zone commerciale, entre les hôtels est et ouest. Cependant, les instructions étaient peu claires. Lorsque nous faisions la queue pour la navette vers la gare, le personnel de l'hôtel ne nous a pas informés de son arrivée ni de la manière de nous positionner, mais a simplement modifié l'horaire du prochain bus. Résultat : toute la file d'attente a raté la navette. Nous avons dû marcher jusqu'à la gare avec nos bagages volumineux. Parc à neige : Aucune indication claire ni signalisation pour se rendre au parc à neige depuis l'hôtel est. Le parc à neige est assez petit et convient aux jeunes enfants (moins de 7 ans). C'est ennuyeux pour un enfant de plus de 7 ans.

C'est une très bonne maison! Je crains qu'elle vieillisse de l'âge avant de partir, mais elle a été renouvelée? Je me sens propre et épouse. Il n'est pas près de la gare, mais il y a un bus à cheval, donc il n'y a pas de voiture facile à rester! Je prends un bus pour aller chaud et très intéressant. Globalement, c'est un logement tranquille et calme pour adultes. Le groupe de clients est une famille, des couples âgés et des filles voyagent 々, mais il est calme et bon. Je pense que les Japonais sont environ 90%, peu d'étrangers. Tout le monde est très gentil. Je veux toujours l'utiliser!

Есть возможность продления пребывания за 1000 иен в час, с ребенком это супер удобно. Не совсем чисто в коридорах отеля из за старости но в номере чисто и хорошо.

What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!
