Sofs Boutique Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, very central to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were particularly lovely and always charming and very helpful. We had a very nice bedroom with a comfy bed, great shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Spotless and cozy room in a charming building. Amazing breakfast. Wonderful staff. Best location in the city. Close to everything including the light rail to the University. I’ve stayed here twice and will stay here again. When it’s warm out, the garden is wonderful

Full of atmosphere, charm and excellent service. Extremely clean and top quality in all aspects. Located in the heart of my favorite area in Aarhus, the Latin Quarter. I will definitely come back. Highly recommendable.

We had a wonderful stay at SOFS Boutique Hotel. Charming, stylish and central place with cosy and clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and smiling :-) We are definitely coming back!

I (and my wife) recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a weekend trip to Aarhus and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room seemed new and was spacious, well-appointed and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel's location couldn't be better - situated right in the heart of Aarhus, it's just a short walk away from many of the city's top attractions, including the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum and the Old Town. There is only 100 meters to the central pedestrian street of the city and the area is stuffed with great restaurants and nice little niché shops. For instance the bakery in the street nearby (La Cabra) has the best croissants I've ever tasted. Nearby is a quality liqour store where the down-to-earth bartenders are really nice and knows a lot about the products and the history behind. The only negative thing is that the street of the hotel is quite busy, so watch out when you exit the hotel. It's important to note that we couldn't hear the traffic from our rooms. On in all we were quite satisfied and we wouldn't hesitate returning if we ever need to stay in center of Aarhus again.

Lovely boutique hotel with a perfect location in the heart of Aarhus. Very nice room with a bathtub and own access to a terrace in the cozy backyard. Finally thumbs up to the fantastic service minded and smiling staff. Will definately recommend SOFS Boutique Hotel.

The new owner has done a brilliant job! Previously, the hotel was a bit worn down and without any common thread as to interior and atmosphere. Now, the new owner has given the entire hotel a complete makeover - new colors in every room (my room was blue/green ish), beautiful wallpaper in the café/reception and (not to forget) clinically clean. Another highlight was the private (and very quite) backyard with a wooded terrace and a small wilderness garden. Very, very charming. Lastly, the staff was polite and smiling – and the location is indeed very central (located in one of the cosiest streets in the old Latin Quarter). Highly recommendable.

I have stayed multiple times at this cosy hotel. It's well situated, has a nice look and feel, and rooms are well cleaned. Some parts (like blankets) are a bit worn out. But if you like a quiet night I would recommend that you stay away from room 31 on the third floor. I had this room on the backside of the building and to my big surprise the mount of a big ventilator shaft was just outside the window. The ventilator made a quite loud humming sound the whole evening and into the night. It was very annoying and made my stay far from relaxed. I'm really surprised that you pay full price for such a room and the hotel doesn't declare this when you book.

I booked this hotel for a business trip. When I arrived at 8PM the staff informed that they had no rooms, despite the booking. They had ignored my booking due to "management changes", and could only offer me a room with shared bathroom. As the city was completely full at the time I no other option but to accept. The room I got was filthy, and without heating, and with a shared bathroom. The staff charged me full price for this. Don't go.
