Kythea Resort

We cannot say enough nice things about this beautiful hotel, people and island. The owners Anna and Spiro know how to work hard and create a memorable Greek experience. Vasiliki is a warm, charming island expert that gives you all the information and advice needed. And all the staff goes above and beyond. Great Greek breakfast, nice pool and a spotless, comfortable room with amazing location.

The hotel has a good staff, lovely pool, and is well maintained. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and they have parking. The rooms are lacking a kettle snd coffeemaker but the biggest shortcoming are the beds. The mattresses need to be changed. They are thin and you can feel the springs. It would also be good for the buffet breakfast to be offered before 8:30a

We have recently returned from 5 nights at the Kythea Resort Hotel in Agia Pelagia Kythira Island followed by 5 nights in the south of the island. Hotel was just as advertised, being clean and tidy if a little basic when compared to other 4 star hotels these days. That said the staff more than made up for it, being so helpful and friendly, and this made our stay very relaxing. 10-15 minute walk along the sea front to all the bars and restaurants of Agia Pelagia, which provided good food and lots of a**osphere even in the relative off season when we went - early June. Rooms were spacious and with a good sized balcony and stunning sea/harbour/hill views, however no tea or coffee making facilities in the room was a missed opportunity. Breakfast was expansive but pretty much the same every day, so would recommend the hotelier introduce some variety as well as more fresh fruit. Beyond that very little to mention adverse! Kythira is beautiful island and the Kythea Resort is a good base from which to explore it but we heartily recommend hiring a car; without it would all be a bit limiting.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful place. The view from our room was great, the hotel is nice and comfortable. The staff helped us with every request. The rooms was clean and had everything necessary. The location is good. Recommended!

Kythea Resort Agia Pelagia A beautiful hotel with even more beautiful staff who couldn’t have made our stay more enjoyable. Stavroula (on reception) and Krystyna deserve particular credit Difficult to find as you have to drive right through town and up the hill out on the other side before you even see a sign. (Ignore the Satnav if it takes you up a narrow side road full of cars before you see the sign as you’ll simply have to reverse out!) Large airy foyer / lounge / bar with a lovely balcony overlooking the town. Large efficient lift giving access to all floors Very spacious airy bedroom with a huge terrace. Generous sized shower. All rather 1980’s but everything works and is spotlessly clean No tea/coffee making facilities, iron / board or robes - but there is a (rather weak) hairdryer in the bathroom and a refrigerator Shutters at the windows so those who wish to can cut out all light at night Lovely pool with surrounding sun beds which can get busy at the end of the day - although there was little shade around the sunbeds Very adequate buffet breakfast Steps directly down to the street to shorten the walk into town Overall we loved our stay here and we’re already planning to return

Πολύ καλές εγκαταστάσεις, προσωπικό με πολλή ευγένεια για ότι ζητήσεις, καθώς και οι ιδιοκτήτες. Η θέα πραγματικά αξίζει. Όλα όμορφα και προσεγμένα. Το μόνο κατά για όλη την περιοχή τα κουνούπια, έχουν προνοήσει βέβαια με αντικουνουπικα σε κάθε δωμάτιο.

Aan de rand van Agia Pelagia, op ongeveer 10 minuten loopafstand ligt dit middelgrote hotel met een prachtig uitzicht over het dorp. Wij hadden een ruime kamer met een mega groot terras op de een na bovenste verdieping. Dagelijks handdoekenwissel, goed bed, kluisje, parking achter het hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, ruim voldoende ontbijt. Zwembad, bar, voldoende ligstoelen.

Μείναμε 6 μέρες. Το δωμάτιο καλό, μεγάλο αλλά θέα όχι, αφού την έκρυβε ένα τοιχακι στο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι και έπρεπε να είσαι όρθιος για να έχεις θέα, παρόλο που ήταν μπροστά. Σεντόνια άλλαξαν την Πέμπτη μέρα, δεν υπήρχε βραστήρας με δύο φακελάκια καφέ, όπως στα περισσότερα ξενοδοχεία της κατηγορίας, ακόμα και σε πανσιόν υπάρχουν αυτά. Το προσωπικό και ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ευγενικοί και το πρωινό ικανοποιητικό. Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν δικαιολογεί τα 210€ την διανυκτέρευση. Η πραγματική τιμή σύμφωνα με τις παροχές, λίαν επιεικώς είναι περίπου στα 110 με 120€ και η κατηγορία τρία αστέρια και αυτό επιεικώς. Πριν πάμε εκεί Μείναμε 2 μέρες σε πανσιόν στην Ελαφόνησο με 80€ μαζί με πρωινό υπέρ παραγωγή, αποστειρωμενα όλα και πραγματικά για αυτά τα χρήματα στο Κυθεα περιμέναμε έστω λίγο να είχαμε τις παροχές που είχαμε στην Ελαφόνησο. Τι να πω?? Ας ελπίσουμε να προσφέρουν στους πελάτες τους παροχές ανάλογα με την κατηγορία που θέλουν να λένε ότι ανεικουν.
