Avoid booking these apartments at all costs, If you pay them in full in advance of your trip they will keep your money without providing accommodation - no joke. We originally booked these apartments in 2021 through *********** but due to covid and the ever changing restrictions, regrettably our flights got cancelled. We made contact with Regina apartments via email on 5th August 2021 (4 weeks before our arrival date) advising them that our flights had been cancelled and we asked them if we could reschedule our booking until May 2022 to which they confirmed in writing that this would not be a problem, Fast forward 6 months, we contacted the Regina apartments once again in Feb 2022 to advise them of our rescheduled arrival date (26/05/22). After serval emails and no response from the Regina Apartments we had to phone them which resulted in an email from the reservations team on 11 May 2022 confirming that they had us booked in for arrival on 26/05/22. We then received a follow up email from the reservations team on 25 May 2022 (the day before our trip) explaining that when we arrive at the apartments on the next day on 26 May May 2022 that there would be no apartment for us unless we paid for our room once again. We had already paid £515 to *********** the year previous who confirmed that the funds were transferred to the Regina Apartments, we even provided the reservations team with a confirmation receipt from *********** but they wanted us to pay for the apartment again. We explained to the reservations team (who by the way operate in Lisbon) that the booking from 2021 was rescheduled to 26 May 2022 due to flight cancellations. In addition to the *********** receipt for £515, we also forwarded the emails from the reservations team confirming that the trip could be rescheduled, we also forwarded the email from the reservations team confirming that they had changed our booking to 26 May 2022. However, they went back on their word, they have kept our £515 and have provided us with no accomdation today. We have had to rebook accomdation somewhere else in the Old Town. To be honest after reading the reviews of these apartments I am actually so glad not to be staying there, the place looks filthy and run down and the reviews back this up. Please, please, please save your money and book somewhere else, do not give them your bank details, once they take your money you will have no come back. The lady in the reservations team was extremely rude to us on the telpehone and extremely rude in her emails, her name is "Daiane Silva". Do not give her your bank account details, you have been warned.
