Super Appartement mit allen Geräten in der Küche von Mikrowelle bis Pfanne! Alles Top, Pool war very nice! Personal
äußerst freundlich. Die Lage war auch sehr gut. Sehr viele Parkplätze vorhanden. Für Urlauber mit Auto eine klare Empfehlung als Hotel!

第一晚入住地下層 夜晚2點超多蟻好恐怖走哂出泥有成幾百隻嚇到全晚訓唔著！第日即刻換房換3樓 好彩冇蟻！早餐不知所謂超小野食唔值。房間夠大有露台，本身間酒店整體係唔錯係住地下唔好，有免費泊車

Hôtel et chambre vétustes. Il y a des fourmis partout dans la chambre (sol, meubles). Chambre et salle de bain pas propre. Il y a des cheveux partout sur le sol, le tapis. Hôtel trop cher par rapport à la qualité de prestation. Le seul point positif est le petit déjeuner.

Trop de monde, trop de chambres.. trop de bruit ! Une usine à touristes dénuée de charme. Les étages ressemblent à un hôpital moderne. Des dizaines de portes les unes collées aux autres... Petit déjeuner des plus mauvais au Portugal... dommage car on y mange très bien ailleurs. Seul point positif, la propriété et l'accueil.

I had high expectations of this holiday and I WAS NOT disappointed! The hotel was absolutely fantastic - the staff were friendly and the communal areas we're clean and well kept. The room was light, airy, spacious and very well equipped. There were 2 aircon units which kept the room lovely and cool and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was peaceful and clean and we never had a problem getting a sunbed, even in half term. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The supermarket was a 5 minute walk round the corner and stocked everything you could need and more. It was about a 10minute stroll to the main village/town which had plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The beach (which was beautiful and clean) was about a 20/25 minute stroll. Alvor wasn't a busy touristy place but there was more enough there to keep you busy. To get to the Slide and Splash waterpark, you can order and Uber and it cost about €15.

What more can I say that hasn’t already been said about this hotel we have stayed he about 10 times now even before it became the Pelican first of all let me mention all the staff they all go out of there way to help you out in any possible way they can .The bedrooms are very large and the kitchen has everything you need the bathroom is now looking a bit tired now but are adequate for your needs The breakfast is good with a good choice of all sorts of different foods The pool area is well kept and plenty of sun beds over all this hotel is spotlessly clean with all the cleaners working extremely hard .Have already rebooked for April

Staff were helpful and welcoming. Room was attended by cleaners every day - clean towels. Some of the cleaning could be better - floors etc. we didn’t have breakfast but bar lunch snacks were good. Rooms are a great size. Pool bar was never open even on sunny days during our stay which was disappointing but would imagine it is during summer. The pool is freezing. On our last day the filters in the pool weren’t working but they were working to fix this. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk into Alvor centre where there are lots of lovely restaurants. Alvor definitely need to do something about all of the dog muck on the pavements! Even although the hotel was very quiet we were still charged 10 euros to keep the room on an extra hour.

Just back from a 5 day stay at this wonderful hotel. This was our second stay at this hotel. Had a lovely room on 2nd floor overlooking pool. View was amazing and loved watching donkeys and goats in the yonder fields. Rooms were huge with a kitchen which if you wanted had everything you would need. We were bed and breakfast which always had enough choice. The reception staff were the friendliest people we have ever encountered in any hotel we have ever stopped in. Always a smile and a wave wherever they saw you. The pool was never crowded and always got a sunbed. Maybes my only gripe was the umbrellas could be changed as there were a few broken at end of season. It was a 10 minute walk into the town with loads of bars and restaurants. Already planning a 10 night holiday for next year.

The Pelican Alvor was a lovely quiet hotel a 15 minute walk from Alvor Town centre. The room was the best we've stayed in for years, big spacious and had a kitchen area and separate bedroom area. Breakfast was OK but not brilliant. I was happy with toast and cereal, there was a limited cooked selection. We did sometimes find the English breakfast tea had run out. The hotel had a supermarket 10 minutes away which sold everything we needed. The hotel was very quiet and had no entertainment, luckily Alvor is close by and a taxi home was 5 euros. The pool area was OK but sometimes we struggled to get an umbrella for our loungers. Also the loungers on the grass meant the chance to get an insect bite for free. The staff were really friendly and we had drinks in the bar area. The hotel has a lovely quiet vibe and we are already booked to return next year.
