Tutto perfetto! Qualche sbavatura solo sul servizio bar, dove l'addetto era alquanto distratto nella rilevazione ed evasione degli ordini.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hotel tant sur le plan hotelier que sur le plan accueil par le personnel de l hotel ; en outre la cuisine était excellente ; par ailleurs cet établissemnt ancien couvent a une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie d'amalfi et la cour intérieure , ancien cloitre , permet de se détendre dans une ambiance calme loin du bruit de la ville !!!

Hotel dans son jus et au départ excellente impression… malheureusement notre chambre (44) était située de telle manière que nous avons du subir des déplacements de chaises et tables jusqu’à 1:00 du matin sur un sol en marbre ce qui nous a sacrifié notre nuit…. Le matin, à nouveau petit déjeuner avec excellente impression et bons produits mais désorganisation du service.. au final un hôtel qui profite de sa réputation historique mais ne mérite pas le prix demandé… c’est triste de le dire comme cela mais c’est un sentiment vécu.

Restaurant was AMAZING! Francesco was so kind, view was beautiful, service was amazing, food was delicious! The drinks were fantastic and the everything from antipasti to primi to secondi was incredible. Would recommend to everyone who is visiting or staying in Atrani or Amalfi area. The best meal we got!

My mother’s dream had always been to visit Amalfi. After 3 nights in Ravello we stayed in Amalfi town for 3 nights at Hotel Luna Convento and it was absolute perfection!!! My mother has a bad hip so couldn’t walk far or for long so she’d paint in the afternoons from our hotel room. The view was absolutely magnificent! We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our suite was and the full length balcony overlooking the ocean and Amalfi town was absolutely perfect. My mother said this hotel was the highlight of our whole month in Europe trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too and everything about our stay was amazing and we will cherish the special memories here, forever! Thank you!!

Miserable experience. Hotel was old, shower door was broken off the wall and allowed water to pour on to bathroom floor. We upgraded to a suite at $1000 per night and the room was filled with gnats and moths. The view was good, but that was it. Buffet breakfast was cancelled on our last morning with no warning and the front desk blamed it on the kitchen, saying they didn’t know. Bizarre. We asked them to call us a taxi and next thing we know the hotel calls a car service and bills us 120 euros. We stayed at 8 different hotels during our European vacation and some were older and beautiful. This one was simply old and dirty. And the staff was odd - made us leave our key when we left the hotel and seemed to want to know our every move. I would strongly suggest staying somewhere else. We had to pay 100% in advance and now we know why.

Hotel is nice the restaurant was good breakfast was really good. The views from restaurant were really nice. The rooms were dated but they cleaned them nicely. The pool was a bit of all hike it was 70 steps down to the pool. It was nice next to the ocean no services available down by pool. The location was ok it was a little hike to town like a 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Staff was friendly however the day we checked in the check in time was 2 pm rooms weren’t ready so we killed time in town came back at 3:30 still weren’t ready was frustrating. The day of check out which was at 12 noon we asked if we could extend it until 2 and they said no. Last thing we were with another couple and we got stuck in the elevator the max person for any elevator in hotel was 4 they were tiny.

This review reflects the experience of two well-travelled guests with plenty of world-wide experience on which to base comments. Overview....................this hotel is comfortable with a high standard of service. The building is unique and fascinating. It offers superb views of Amalfi which is only about 10 minutes gentle walk away. Reception..................extremely friendly and helpful. Reception staff speak good English. Requests are attended to quickly. The night porter was on hand immediately at 5.00 a.m. to collect our bags for departure. Our packed breakfasts were waiting for us. Room....................(Superior, Sea View) Lots of space. A large, sitting room sparsely furnished with antiques, opening on to a small balcony with a wonderful view of the bay and the town. Ten stairs up to the bedroom. Very comfortable bed and, again, lots of space. On the minus side, there was no dressing table or mirror of any sort in the bedroom. Sleep quality was very good. Quiet and effective A/C Bathroom.............well appointed but small. A good shower, plenty of hot water. Large bath towels, linen hand towels. Restaurant.....................again, the wonderful view and excellent service from smartly turned-out staff. A wide variety at the buffet breakfast. An interesting dinner menu, well cooked and well presented. Wine by the glass if you prefer. The cloister and courtyard...............................a peaceful area for drinks. Sitting with a glass of wine on a warm moonlit evening was just the sort of holiday memory we looked for. Swimming pool...........................80 steps down. Not a large pool but clean and not crowded. To-your-chair drinks service available. Beach..........the hotel does not have a beach. Finally..................be prepared for a one and a half hour (approx) transfer to/from Naples airport.

This stunningly beautiful hotel is a perfect location in Amalfi, just 500 metres from the square. It is in a former convent, with an excellent standard of accommodation, service and wonderful staff. With amazing views, and lovely terraces, this really captures the beauty and grandeur of Amalfi. It has an excellent restaurant in the hotel, with a lovely courtyard , filled with lemon trees , for aperitifs or after dinner coffee. There is a sister restaurant across the road ( Ristorante con Terrazza soul Mare) which is also amazing and a must !

Wonderfully kind staff who genuinely care about the guest experience. Francesco in the bar (and restaurant) is very passionate about service and went out of his way to accommodate. The restaurant has a nice modestly pric3d wine list (great value) with views from the terrace at La Veranda that are to die for - it must be the best kept secret in Amalfi which was just fine to us! Andrea and Salvatore are wonderful managers and have built a wonderful service culture! We highly recommend this gem of a hotel for your stay in Amalfi.

Beautiful iconic hotel just a 7 min walk from the downtown area. The views from the room are spectacular, the hotel staff is wonderful and friendly. Super clean rooms. Amazing breakfast with a view included. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to the amalfi coast. The history of the property is also very interesting as a prior convent. We were a little disappointed the pool doesn’t open until May 1 but still had an amazing time.

Great location and views, friendly staff. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The history of the hotel is really fascinating and the location can’t be beat. It’s just a short walk to town, the beach area and down the hill from Atrani. The staff was very friendly and gave us lots of information about where to explore in the area. The dinner in the restaurant was one of our favorite meals of our trip!

The location of the hotel is greatIt is near the pier. Also very short walk to town and shopping. Amalfi is beautiful. The hotel is older . It is authentic. Lay out is a little different. The staff extremely helpful and nice. If you have small children the road to get to town may be an issue. The pool is also across the street but next to the hotel, and right on the water. .If you want super modern this is not for you. It is clean , and has a lot to offer. location , pool, and i the views from hotel are amazing.

We had a small but lovely room with a terrace overlooking the Amalfi Drive. It is not suited for people who have trouble getting in & out of the tub for a shower. The food was good & views were spectacular. If they had hand rails in the tub I would have given it 5 stars. Amalfi is beautiful.
