Hotel Floridiana

fantastic hotel - beutiful decor, the staff are extermely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptionally fresh and tasy. The room and bed were super comfortable. The hotel is easy to get to - a few steps but thats normal for Amalfi. Highly recommended.

Loved the rooftop patio, the crazy big bathroom. Good location, great breakfast. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store close by. The only thing I can complain about is the angry man that worked at the front desk. Everyone else was super friendly.

A lovely boutique hotel just off the main shopping street in Porto Ischia. Also, close to the beach. Super breakfast and staff very friendly. all the rooms have a view but if you can request a high room looking over the pool.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the middle of tourist season and absolutely loved it. It was easy to find despite being down a narrow alley. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. It's an older style building but the rooms were very thoughtfully appointed and felt extremely clean. I can't stress how CLEAN the rooms felt, especially compared to the low standard set by the rest of Italy. One word of warning however... If you're on the 1st floor, there is some kind of crowded B&B directly above with a very busy communal area. Every evening, until after midnight, we had a nonstop parade of loud footsteps, furniture being moved around and things being dropped upstairs. Being an older building, it's extremely loud and disturbing to anyone who wants to sleep at a normal hour. Whoever decided to open up a tacky hostel-style business upstairs has no regard for their neighbours and has completely ruined all the hard work put into Floridiana hotel.

Hotel looks like it has recently invested in a make-over. The room I stayed in had a jacuzzi bath and king size bed. The dining room is beautiful and is a pleasure to have breakfast in. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel has it’s own garage so if you’re driving the coast this is really helpful and convenient.

Loved our stay at this charming and well located hotel. Deserves all the fabulous reviews. We stayed for 4 nights while doing lots of walks and sightseeing around the coast. Bed and shower plus aircon excellent. If you get the modern shower it was a little tricky to know what to do but when set at the right temperature was fabulous. Good breakfast and close to everything. Our favourite restaurant is a few steps away Taverna Buonvicino.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect. Traditional Italian family run hotel. Quiet room and very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It is a great choice in a expensive town.

This is a historic hotel, which has stayed in the same family for generations. It is traditional but "almost new" looking as the building has been carefully renovated in the original design. The current owner is a unpretentious person often working reception. She also ensured the friendly staff keep everything beautiful. I felt she, quietly, saw it as her role in life to restore and maintain this hotel. Location: just off the main street adjacent to the beautiful cathedral. Room: we had the junior suite large with a beautiful view into a beflowered courtyard and of the Duomo dome. Not expensive, in fact very inexpensive for the quality. It was a duplex with a jacuzzi on the top mezzanine. Breakfast: Everything including the best baked cheesecake ever ( I've eaten a lot including "original cheesecake" in Midtown Manhattan.) Roof top lounging area with whirlpool tub. Amalfi is a great destination, the town is historic with a beautiful museum cathedral. There are busses ( good for going up to higher towns and walking down through lemon groves and ferries along the beautiful coast and to adjacent towns.
