2 Cambridge Villas B & B

2 Cambridge Villas turned out really great! The location is excellent as is the service and cleanliness. It all feels very well looked after. On arrival we found we had a free parking space, which was a bonus! And, what wasn’t obvious on the ******* description, was that breakfast was included in the room price, so another bonus. Breakfast was great too. Our only slight ****** was the room got a bit cold over night. But that’s it. Well worth a visit if you’re looking for something central for a family of 4.

A lovely B&B in the heart of Ambleside. A cosy and comfortable room with everything we needed for the weekend. Kate was very welcoming and served a fantastic breakfast with plenty of options plus cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc. A short walk into town where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Also the perfect location for some good walks. We will definitely return later this year.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely room which was tastefully decorated and provided great value for money. The locally produced hand soaps and showers gels were a nice touch which combined perfectly with a very decent shower, reviving me nicely after hiking all day. Breakfast was delicious also. Highly recommended!

Perfect in every way. Very well looked after by Kate who is also very knowledgable about the local area. We visit every year and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at 2 Cambridge Villas in Ambleside. The host, Kate, was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. The location was a convenient starting point for walks around the town and beyond. The parking permit for a nearby car park meant that we could enjoy days out on foot without any parking fees. Overall, excellent value for money.

A wonderful B&B and Kate is a fantastic host, everything is thought of. The breakfast was superb and a great choice of fruit, cereals, juices to compliment the hearty English breakfast, much needed after the previous days hiking. We will return for sure.

Good stay in ambleside. Lovely breakfast and a lovely clean room. From when we arrived to when we left. Kate was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Thank you again for a lovely stay. If we come back to Windermere, we would be staying here again.

Very central B&B. It was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Lovely breakfast, too. The stay comes with a free parking spot, only a very short walk away from the B&B. Host was very helpful, keeping in touch with me via mobile phone the day before and on the day of arrival.

A B&B that is more like a boutique hotel. We were welcomed like family and treated as such throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Kate. Our family room on the top floor was beautifully designed and decorated. Every aspect of a stay had been considered. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The shower was powerful and the toiletries smelled divine. Tea & coffee making facilities, along with tasty biscuits, added to the all round high level of quality and comfort. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with fresh fruit and cereal. Everything to set you up for a day of walking, climbing or sightseeing. We will most definitely be back to stay. Genuinely could not fault our stay, out hosts or the B&B faculties.
