Golden Lagoon Gin Hotel

Recently I went to Amritsar for a day and booked this hotel for stay. Hotel location was very good, around 24 walk-in distance from the Darbar Sahib(Golden temple) , 50 mtr. Distance to Jaliyanwala bagh and the Heritage walk area. Room was quite good is size and with an amazing view of Jaliyanwala bagh, so when ever you see outside you can enjoy the greenery which gives you fresh vibes. All this makes our stay very comfortable. I ordered the tea from the hotel restaurant and it was very good and served nicely. And last but not the least I would like to Thanks, to all the staff as they all were very welcoming. They treated us nicely and tried to help us wherever required. Starting from the main reception staff, to the Transport desk and the staff whoever served the tea to us all were very very good. I will surely take the same hotel, whenever I visit to Amritsar again.

Worst experience..Rooms are too small. Bedsjits,pillow covers are all so bad condition, having so ***y stains.All pictures of Rooms are fake .Room service is also so bad.Good thing is only location.You can get better rooms in other hotels.

Excellent experience of stay Staff behavior is Excellent Property location is Excellent Hotel employee guided me to visit tourist places which is very convenient to me.Even I reached at 1.30 am staff traced me & also guided me how to arrive at hotel safely

Very small room, poor upkeep, unprofessional attitude of Front Office Staff, vehicles seldom can reach the Hotel due to congested road. Restaurant does not offer much variety neither is the food of authentic Amritsari quality. However, it is very close to Golden Temple which is the only positive point.

Very well run hotel and restaurant in a great location. Rooms clean and well maintained and awesome rooftop patio to relax away from the crowds and noise. Yuvi the ***ager and his staff were great hosts that made me feel welcome and appreciated and bent over backwards to accommodate me when my booking was messed up by booking service despite a peak busy Sikh festival weekend. Would definitely stay there again if I visit Amritsar again.

We were travelling with an infant and also had a last minute cancellation of our parents, however Mr. Thakur made sure our check-in was hassle-free. We also had made special request for arranging baby food for our little which was also well accomodated. I would definitely recommend this place for a good comfortable stay.

Good hotel with Nice view of jalan wala bagh .Nice staff. Food is also good. In all good to stay. Affordable prices of rooms. Daily refill of room accessories. Daily cleaning of rooms. Good bathroom with near and cleaned bath accessories.

We were 3 ladies who visited Amritsar in July 23 during peak rains but this hotel was a very comfortable stay. We were very well taken care of by Reshma in the Travel Desk & Riya, Riddhima in the front office. The day shifts are very well ***aged by this pleasant trio & I was very happy to stay in a place where women were ***aging the show. We had booked the Executive Room overlooking Jallianwala Bagh & the early morning greenery was soothing to the eye. I would recommend JB view rooms. The hotel entrance is right next to the exit of JB Bagh which is in the lane just before the Golden Temple. There are shops, eateries in that lane & best part is it was not flooded even during peak outpour. It can be a bit of a challenge if you are driving your own vehicle since the approach lanes are narrow but their skillful drivers make it all a breeze. Reshma ***aged our airport pick ups & local trips to town & Wagah border very well. Riya gave some excellent suggestions on shopping & eating out. Masala Darbar the Restaurant serves some excellent Kulchas , Naans & Chhole which was mouth watering delicious.

We really appreciate the services provided by the hotel, facilities provided were very quick, they have taken care of cleanliness a lot, maintained the hotel premises in a very good condition, hotel staff is also very friendly and kind hearted. This is great place to stay as close to Gurudwara. They have their own restaurant also and the quality of food is also good.
