I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Amritsar, and overall, it’s your run-of-the-mill business hotel. The location is convenient, making it easy to access various parts of the city, which was a definite plus.
The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with no major complaints regarding the facilities or service. However, I did have a minor issue with my room request. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room through Trip.com, but the request was initially denied. This left me a bit confused, as upon arrival, the hotel still provided me with a non-smoking room. While I’m happy my preference was eventually accommodated, the denial of the request was perplexing and could have been better communicated.
Despite this small hiccup, my stay was comfortable and met my expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable and convenient place to stay in Amritsar, the Hyatt Regency is a solid choice. »

« Very kind and friendly nd helpful staff but at first day I arrived early in the morning at 07:30 Am or 08:00 I think there was a guy Mr. Anuj I asked him is it possible to early check inn he told me that take a seat and wait for 10 minutes and after 10 minutes I was told by Mr.anuj that your room is ready i thought wow but after few minutes Mr.Anuj said I have to pay 1500 more for early check inn then I left the hotel early in the morning and came back for check inn at 16:00 o clock something. But I can understand I came earlier so it’s fine but all the FO staff and room service staff is great as well .
But specifically the lady who clean up my room everyday I forgot to ask her name but she is very good at communicating provide the best service thank you. »

« Hotel is right in central old Amritsar walking distance from Jallianwala Bagh, Golden Temple and the Partition Museum. Rooms were clean and amenities were good. I would have given 5 stars except for the drawbacks. We booked 5 delux rooms. Some rooms were very spacious, while some were as small as a box with no space to turn around even. This discrepancy should not be there in an ITC hotel. Secondly the service was very poor, the food at the restaurant and room service was very slow and the housekeeping was non existent. We called 4-5 times for towels in the room, as they had removed our used towels and were not provided the same till late night. Nothing should require 5 calls to get done which indicates their callousness. Otherwise I would still recommend this place if they improve on these points. »

« The location is fantastic - a 5-minute walk from Sri Harmandir Sahib, with many surrounding eateries and shops in the vicinity
Cleanliness of the hotel is very well-maintained
All of the hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially when providing advise and guidance on planning the itinerary of the day
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back here when we do visit Amritsar again in the future »

« What a beautiful stay I had at this wonderful hotel.
From the services (receptionist, bellboy, housekeeping, restaurant staff) being excellent to the cleanliness and the very modern looking hotel that this is.
Requested the hotel to organise room deco for my wedding anniversary and Mr Manoj Sharma ensured to overdeliver with a beautiful deco and cake in the room which was a pleasent surprise for my wife.
The food at the restaurant above is delicious and regardless if its breakfast buffet, high tea and/or dinner, the quality remains top notch and the service even better by their superb staff.
Hotel is located within Hall Bazaar itself which makes it easy to walk around for shopping and also just a 5-10 mins ride to Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Honestly, for a 4* hotel, this hotel had the people, food and facilities of a 5* hotel. Love everything bout this hotel and having celebrated my wedding anniversary here, this hotel will always remain special to me and my trip to Amritsar, India. »

« One of the female receptionist inadvertently claimed that we had consumed one of the item from the bar which was certainly inaccurate. This situation got somewhat embarrassing as she didn’t believed in us until Mr Inderpal Singh the Front End Manager got involved and resolved the unfounded claim. »

« The location is good, the room sizes are pretty good too. But thats the only good part.
The room feels very odd, the beds, pillows, all furniture is discomforting.
The TV is miniature sized.
Overall, they could have done so much better with the service as well as room interiors for a much pleasant stay. »

IInvitéITC Raja Sansi is a wonderful property and our stay was good. The staff was professional and warm. Food was good too!
Access to the room and privacy needs significant improvement.
The ground floor rooms are unable to sit with curtains open. Even with the sheers closed, there is complete.visibility inside.
Further small housekeeping gaps like mini bar not working and not stocked, just one towel in the bathroom despite double occupancy etc were some gaps.

MMandeep’sI recently had the pleasure of staying at thisHotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary welcome drink.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The hotel's amenities were top- notch. Overall, my experience at Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I can't wait to return!

IInvitéMadpackers Amritsar is one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in. The service is very good they are able to arramve tours to go see the border ceremony and to other things. It is within walking distance to the Golden Temple which ia very nice!

IInvitéL'hôtel est très proche des zones principales et ne se fait pas faire de bruit.Le restaurant sert un grand brunch et nous avons trouvé le meilleur Amritsar kulcha ici, nous sommes propres et nous avons une mise à niveau à l'arrivée. L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine avec gimnasie et d'une salle de bains. Il semble que l'on ait fait du louange, que nous aurions donné de toute façon. La deuxième chose non professionnelle était que nos vols étaient au soir et nous avons demandé un check-out tardif. Le bureau frontal semblait amusé et jouaient avec nous. Ce n'est pas professionnel. Je recommanderais la nourriture même si son prix (a la carte) est sensiblement plus élevé.

IInvitéThis hotel is very near to the railway station . They are family run business and they made you feel safe as a solo female traveller. The Golden temple is a bout 3km walk , I managed to walk there with the help of the locals every time I want to make sure I am on the right path . Google map is helpful the the road is a bit confusing. However , you can just get a tuk tuk outside the hotel . I paid 100 rupees for each ride .
The taxi from the airport cost me rupees $650 .
Overall I will still come back if I am alone.

IInvitéthere was no lift in the hotel. we were allotted a room in the first floor. i am 70 years old and my wife 68 years. we had to climb the steep stairs - about 30 steps one way
the room’s door had no provision for locking outside while going out
locking the door from inside was also a herculean task
didn’t get any food in the late night checking in ( around 11.15pm)
went to sleep with empty stomach
we booked the room for 3 persons. my wife,myself and our son. the cot was meant only for 2 and there was no extra bed
the rating of 3 was given only because of the friendly nature of the front desk personnel and the sardarji room attendant ( he was extremely polite and helpful).
will not patronise that hotel again 🙏. above all they had not changed the pillow covers. the previous occupants hairs were all over the pillow cover

IInvitéThe foremost positive point for this hotel has to be it's proximity to the golden temple, second would be their food quality. The rooms have all amenities but the only down side is their service and attentiveness. Both are extremely slow and below the mark. Once this is corrected, i am sure this hotel will be on the bucket list of all visiting amritsar. All in all- a satisfactory stay.
