Wonder full place to stay and amazing food and service and from the window the view is too amazing Shubi mam and arsheed is so cooperative ..thanku hotel iceland al are very help full and the bathroom are clean and room also the interior is amazing

Pathetic hotel staff n service. Every thing was pathetic. Rooms were so bad in condition , urin smell was coming from the bed sheets. in breakfast they served only dirty tea n low quality poha that’s all. No hot water in bathroom etc ,actually they are misleading tourists from their hotel pics n location . I never suggest anyone to stay there coz they will ruin your vacation n stay. Their is no car parking n lots of steep stairs to reach the hotel, it’s very difficult specially for any old person . We faced lots of problems can’t write everything.

Amazing.The behavior of the pperons are very much cordial.Everythinh of Hotel Iccekand is very beautiful. Ex cellent.Awesome.The scenic beauty of this place is really heavenly.The river Lidder is infront of the hotel which is really very very beautiful.

Fantastic stay with family and enjoying the weather.pleasent place for family person.view from room is excellent.must visit again.staff is friendly and happy to help everyone. Food is also good. We definitely plan agin to visit.

This hotel is just located at the banks of the river leader with excellent ambience. The owner is very friendly and the food is great. Loved the fresh food and the staff helped us in all the way. Highly recommended for family stay and with kids. I am very happy to write this review and personally recommend people to come and visit this place. It is located around 3 km from main Pahalgam market and easily accessible

Such a pathetic experience about the stay.we literally waited one hour after long day tour at the time of checking and the reason was he kept saying that he didn’t get the amount from agent from where we booked. Also we went with friends and room they gave was shuffled and it was left over room kind of servant quarter. Blanket was having big holes and staff said it is what it is and they don’t have anything. Interior was pathetic without room cleannesses,No water bottles facilities. Cannot express how we spend that night by paying such huge amount for stay in such unpleasant property. Reception guy was so rude and have no manner to talk.

Worst rooms, worst staffs, manager was not even bothered if we are in trouble or not. We have wasted our money staying here. We were to stay for 2 nights but it was so worst that we couldn't even stay for a single night but we had no option left at around 12.00am . We were given the workers rooms, blankets had holes smelled smoked . Washrooms were so dirty. No hot water in so chilling weather. Overall we just left right in the morning at 6 stayed only for 5 hrs. Worst people with worst rooms and hotels. Just to get a view we had lost so much money and mental peace after so tiring day.

The best part about this hotel is its location which is unmatched. Just by the side of the Lidder River exactly where the river bifurcates. The other great things about this hotel are it's staffs who are very friendly, caring and ensures the guests have a pleasant stay. Food was quite good.. Despite lack of staffs, and heavy tourist load, they tried their best to provide all services on time. I spent one night last month withy family.. Everyone was quite satisfied with the service, and definitely loved the location. Sitting beside the rive after a tiring daytrip was refreshing, watching of the river and listening to its sound from the room window felt lovely, post dinner birthday celebration of my wife by the river side arranged by hotel staffs felt heavenly, and morning breakfast right on the bank of river was amazing. Actually never felt like checking out and leaving the hotel. However, the only con with the hotel was lack of maintenance making the building and most rooms a little run down. Seems like the hotel hasn't been renovated for quite long, and rooms, particularly the bathrooms, need to be cleaned soon to attract more tourists and more positive reviews. Those very particular about cleanliness will be turned down. And another disadvantage is that one will have to climb down about 60 stairs to reach the hotel which makes it rather difficult for elderly people and those with knee problems. However, the location of the hotel and staff behaviour compensates for most of the cons. Tips: go for 2nd floor rooms: room no. 103, 104, 105 for the best view of River Lidder from the window.
