This is a nice hotel which is made great by its amazing staff. We had our dog with us during our stay and I think it is safe to safe that this hotel is not only a spa hotel for humans but also for dogs. Ours got so many cuddles. Amazing to experience. Next to that, the food is really amazing. Its definitely worth to have diner in the hotel!

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay. Very good small hotel, excellent for business meetings, lunch and dinner. Close to the beach, has private parking, the stuff is young and very professional. We had all day a meeting in a conference room and all eas arranged very well without problems. The diner was delicious. Recommended!

The hotel is situated in a perfect place, under fragrant old pine trees, it is recently renovated in perfect taste and a very nice beach is only minutes away. Breakfast is abundant and varied. Very clean. But all this is even surpassed by friendliness and kindness of its staff.

La struttura è molto bella e curata, immersa nel verde e la tranquillità, la colazione varia e abbondante (peccato solo per il caffè che se chiedi l' espresso lo devi pagare a parte), la zona "spa" in realtà è composta da 2 saune finlandesi di diversa gradazione, ma la grotta di sale la devi pagare a parte (l' ho scoperto solo dopo aver prenotato). Comunque è stato rilassante. Vicino al centro e al mare. Parcheggio. Unica cosa non ho capito purché di sera l' ascensore non è utilizzabile...

Questo hotel è pulitissimo, curato nei dettagli e il personale veramente gentile e simpatico. Abbiamo usufruito di un weekend all-inclusive: camera superior, sauna e una strepitosa colazione! Speriamo di tornarci prestissimo! Bravi!
