Avis : Kuyu Beergarden Hostel

Environnement agréable, mais expérience horrible. Après une nuit prolongée chez le propriétaire lui-même, confirmant la disponibilité, j'ai été informé dix minutes avant l'heure de départ qu'il n'y avait plus de place, et on m'a quand même demandé de partir à temps. J'ai demandé au propriétaire si le sac de randonnée pouvait encore être rangé à l'auberge jusqu'au soir ; il a accepté sans plus d'informations. Plus tard dans la soirée, alors que je récupérais le sac de randonnée dans le local à sacs à dos, j'ai passé moins de 15 minutes à l'installer. Le propriétaire m'a pressé de sortir de l'auberge et m'a crié dessus (avec raison : il m'a dit que le sac devait être rangé en bas, ce qu'il n'a jamais mentionné). J'ai essayé d'expliquer les raisons et j'ai dit que je partirais au plus vite, mais on m'a répondu que ça ne le dérangeait pas. Expérience horrible.

I could've changed the location but I didn't they were very friendly I felt like my own place ill recommend them to friends and would choose them again in the future

It is a clean hostel with a great location in the old Kalenji neighborhood of AntalyaWith its good management, by staying in this hostel, you can have easy access to historical monuments, cafes, restaurants, and a good walk to the sea.Overall I liked this hostel and will try it again if I travel to Antalya again

This hostel has many issues. You always have to remind the workers to do this or that, otherwise either the wifi doesn't work, or you have no equipment in the kitchen, or there's simply mold everywhere in the bathrooms. The beds are also awful, by the way. Shaky and dangerous to climb on. The only good thing here is location. Nothing else. Also the workers don't seem to be so customer oriented. They chill on sofas, smoke inside, drink, don't bother themselves to check their system on time. Constant wifi problems. Even when you tell them, they fix it slowly and not for a long time. Next day again same story. So the only place I could work from was the reception area. I needed quietness and good connection just for 30 mins and politely asked the receptionists to talk softer. They refused. So I couldn't work and told them "why do I have problems with every single detail here?" (toilet, beds, kitchen, etc), they said "why are you here then?". (The only reason I stayed there was because I was fully busy and didn't have time to move, even though I wanted to go away the first day. But again, the receptionist, asked me this! Meaning he doesn't want to improve anything in their hostel, but instead argues with the customer lol). So then the 30yo receptionist told me to leave. He told me to leave straight away!! Right in the middle of my work. He said he didn't like me ruining their mood. Imagine, lol. What a "smart" service. I couldn't leave then as I had to work (not that he cared), but later I did and this is the best thing that happened to me in this hostel. So if you're in Antalya, don't let these "very smart" people spoil your impression of the city. There's plenty of other hostels nearby for around the same price, but way better quality and vibes. Some of them are: Flaneur hostel, Vague hostel, Be Bold hostel. Highly recommended.

I’m solo traveler almost more than 10 years I had have been staying in many hostels , hotels dorm room , single bed , bunk bed ,all kinda of accommodations,i can tell one of the worst stay I have except the hostel location that’s perfect and laundry service once u step in place they will offer you that’s best other wise the female form room so tiny , bunk bed so so uncomfortable, like getting down from topics guaranteed to be injured , no curtain for bunk bed , no spot light on each bed, the room light direct to ur eyes and air conditioning almost on u. . Let’s say if u stay for 2 night then u will hate all ur life for choosing this bed.& this room .All hostel only own 2 bathrooms so be patient … sorry if you don’t change service …

Main gripe: there are only two bathrooms/showers for the entire place. That's many dorm rooms and people who are constantly waiting since obviously everyone's using the two at the same time of day. Otherwise, AC is good in dorm rooms, the wifi is not great but it's fine. they're quite central and decent price.

Posizione ottima in centro, staff cordiale e disponibile, pulizia perfetta, niente di negativo. Caffè e tè a disposizione, giardino carino con posti per sedere, nessun rumore molesto…. Ci tornerei volentieri anche la prossima volta ad Antalya!
