Lofos Soilis

This is a family run B&B about 10 mins walk from the beach. The whole place is simply stunning and very picturesque. We had apar**ent 5 which had 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms had A/C and it was very spacious with fantastic terraces top both front and back. The only issue with this apar**ent was that the safe was broken (locked by previous guests) and despite requesting 4 times for it to be fixed/replaced, we were unable to secure our valuables for the duration of our holiday. The pool area was beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Whilst the pool was, at its deepest, 1.3m it was adequate to cool down. The restaurant which serves the breakfast and evening meals is at the pool and the views were amazing. The menus were different every day and very reasonably priced. With the exception of one evening where we had an excursion, we ate in house every day. I would definitely return as Denise, Olga and the rest of the family were friendly, always willing to please and you could tell that they had such pride in their establishment.

As a family, we like to be our own travel agent and arrange our holidays ourselves. To do this you need to be able to find places like Lofos Soilis, where you can rely on a high standard and a service that makes it feel good. It's a peaceful and beautiful location in zante, removed from the busy tourist *****s and with stunning views. It's clean and well managed. It has great food for reasonable prices. You know you can eat authentic Greek dishes there and get kid friendly plain things. Their breakfast buffet is second to none and the people that work there all really nice and helpful. It's a nice 10.min walk to a lovely small quiet beach with excellent restaurants and sunbeds for hire. It's not far from the water park or a town but it's out on its own, atop a hill of olive groves. We highly recommend Lofos Soilis. Get some flights to zakinthos, book a taxi transfer to meet you at the airport and take you straight there. Hire a car from Nikos, down the hill, by the beach. He'll bring it up to you at your apar**ent and collect it after. You'll have such a big breakfast everything morning at no extra cost, you won't want any lunch! Then you can eat at their poolside restaurant in the evening and admire the stunning views. Five Stars.

No Value for too much money! 1.) The apar**ent had nothing to do with the internet-photos! In particular, the living room did not have a sofa, contrary to the internet photos. There was two more beds!!! This was important to us, because at evening, after coming home, we want to sit and look a few minutes tv before going to sleep! 2.) The TV doesnt work! There was no antenna-cable. We told the reception 2 times to repair the cable and noting happens. The young guy at the reception say to me "why you want to watch tv when you have a wonderful island with so much beautiful environment! Hey....you can NOT say this to a customer! Unbelievable! 3.) The bed sheets were washed but they had stains that could not be removed, which looked very uncomfortable. We had to ask for new ones. We paid €612 for 4 nights. That's more than 150€ per night. To get an apar**ent at this price, which does not correspond to the pictures and is therefore not as usable as you would expect, in connection with a non-functioning TV and dirty bed linen and on top of that unfriendly service....that is not possible! That's not worth more than 50€ per night! Not forget the complicated location! Doesnt matter where you want to go with your car...you have a long way....every day...many times! No Guys...150€ per night is toooo much! To be fair, this resort has good parking, a really nice pool and the whole resort is very quiet. This is also ideal for families. The environment is very beautiful! If we had paid a fair 50-70€ per night, that would have been reasonable!

Wij moesten ivm een gecancelde vakantie naar Florida op kort termijn iets zoeken. En wat hebben we het getroffen met deze locatie. Naast dat het weer (25 gr) top was is deze plek een super uitvalsbasis om Zakynthos te bezoeken. Ver gelegen van alle toeristische drukte is het hier genieten. In de ochtend met een prachtig uitzicht ontbijten en in de avond kan je genieten van de lokale keuken. De gastvrouw is vriendelijk en zorgzaam, zelfs nog op deze late tijd van het seizoen. 31 oktober sluiten de deuren om in april weer open te gaan

Restaurant op kleinschalig vakantie complex. Een kleine kaart die dagelijks wijzigt, dus geen keuze stress. Mooie verse producten. Heel smakelijk allemaal. Beste Griekse Salade die we in de vakantie hebben gehad. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras over de regio en de kuststreek. Vriendelijke bediening en altijd wat extra bij de maaltijd. Echt een aanrader.
