1900 Inn on Montford

My wife and I travel often and always stay in B&B's. I can easily say that this has moved to the top of our list! From the live music on the porch to the "never ending" wine at happy hour to the gourmet 3 course breakfast it was truly a great 4 day get away for us. Willy genuinely cares about the guests having a great experience not only at the B&B but their daily activities as well. We will be back!

The Inn and the Innkeepers were both lovely; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enthusiastically recommend the Inn. Asheville was pretty terrific too.

What a wonderful get away. Willy and Shawnie are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we were met with such warm hospitality. Shawnie's breakfast were amazing. So much pride and goodness goes into all her cooking. We hope this will be the first of many stays at the Inn.

We attended a family wedding at the 1900 Inn on Montford and fell in love with the property. We stayed in the Edith room and found our accommodations to be above and beyond what one would expect. The bedding was some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on, the architecture of the Inn was beautiful and the charm of it all made it perfect. As a foodie, I found everything to be on point and delicious and the espresso machine topped it all off. We are so thankful to have been invited to attend this event at the Inn, the opportunity to connect with old and new family members in such a lovely space and to celebrate the union of two important people in our lives. We enthusiastically recommend a stay at the 1900 Inn on Montford.

Willy and Shawnie are the best hosts and made this B&B one of the best lodging venues we have experienced. The food and ambience were superb. They made our anniversary very special by giving us a bottle of proseco, chocolates and upgrading our room.

What's not to love? We stayed in the William Morris room -super comfy bed, beautiful decor, steam shower, jacuzzi tub and outside sitting space. Everything was true to their advertising, just more beautiful. The innkeepers themselves were generous, attentive, organized,and seemed truly motivated to make our stay exceptional with sightseeing recommendations, books on the local history, the cookies and happy hour! The breakfasts were delicious! Great location! Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay at the 1900 Inn on Montford. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to our every need. From check-in to our morning breakfast to having everything we needed, they could not have made it more pleasant. We stayed in the Rosetti Suite which was elegant, clean and very spacious. We will definitely be back! Thanks Shawnie & Willie!!

Willy and Shawnie are purely delightful, as are the staff. Everyone was welcoming and we enjoyed amazing 3-course breakfast 'feasts', along with all-the-time coffee, cookies and bottled drinks. We enjoyed chatting with other guests at the beautifully laid breakfast table. Our rooms were quiet and comfortable with many thoughtful touches. We look forward to returning every year.

My husband and I and small dog just came back from Asheville after a few days getaway for an early 50th anniversary celebration. I came across the 1900 Inn on Montford randomly. So happy I did. We stayed in the Rosetti which is a carriage house behind the main house. It was perfect for us. Warm and cozy — king bed so comfortable, fireplace and jacuzzi. Private, no stairs, parking in lot. Best of all, Willy & Shawnie the innkeepers. They go above and beyond. Like they say “come as guests go home as friends. From the delicious home cooked 3 course creative breakfasts, to the yummy homemade cookies, coffee, tea, and cold beverages always available to their kindness and friendly conversation and suggestions on restaurants they are the best. They even walked our dog for us!! We arrived to flowers, chocolate and Processo for our anniversary. Location is perfect in a residential area and we walked to a neighborhood restaurant the first night for dinner. We highly recommend the 1900 Inn on Montford. We enjoyed our stay and are sure you will too.
