J’y ai passé 3 nuits et je recommande fortement ! Une super vue et la chambre et propre et fonctionnelle. Les propriétaires sont toujours prêts à vous aider si besoin et toujours avec le sourire. L’accès peut être un peu compliqué mais une fois arrivée on oublie tout avec la vue magnifique.

We stayed in Ella for 3 nights. Golden View Guest Hotel has an amazing location with a beautiful view of the valley in which the town is located. You can get here by Tuk-tuk, a shorter route with the possibility of taking the last few hundred meters up the stairs or directly to the hotel, but it is twice as long. This needs to be arranged with the driver. The hotel is clean and it is quite quiet because it is away from the town. The view is amazing. We recommend the morning sunrise. The host is incredibly hospitable. He advises what to visit in the surrounding area. He prepares very tasty breakfasts On the day of our departure (we were leaving very early in the morning), he prepared sandwiches for the road and drove us personally to the train station. We highly recommend this place.

We went with the family and our Dog the Inn facilities and the owners hospitality also the young man that helps around is above and beyond They are not money minded but will do what ever needed to make your stay hospitable we stayed from 28th sept - Oct 1st Don’t worry to book this place it has a lovely view room facilities are good as well Don’t forget to get the information from the owner so he can give you clear instructions how to go about Ella and best way possible to enjoy the area and its wonders Will visit soon Thank you Mr. Rathnayake, family and the Young Man

We stayed only one night but the owner and his family did their best to make our stay so memorable. Since he provided transport (pick up from the train station and taking us around Elle, finding a way to climb little Adam's peak, etc.) and helped us to cover as many as we could during our short stay, we are so grateful to the owner for helping us to achieve this wonderful experience at Elle. We couldn't have done much within a short time without him. Beautiful scenery and breath-taking views from the hotel will never be forgotten. Also, the breakfast provided was really nice and couldn't expect more. Apart from the friendly. helpful and a great host, the hotel rooms were clean and well maintained as well. We would highly recommend this place to stay 😊👍

Breathtaking view from the balcony and the terrace where we ate breakfast, combined with outstanding host who was above and beyond throughout our whole stay in Ella and helped us with everything. Hopefully we can come back one day :) Highly recommended!

We were picked up by tuk tuk by the owner and taken to the guest house and he then made us tea while we took in the amazing views. Room was basic but very clean and we had the best view of the mountains from our balcony. We were again taken on the tuk tuk into Ella where we had a lovely evening and then picked up again. We had asked for a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast so were treated to string hoppers and Dahl which was very tasty. The owner was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble I would 100% recommend this place to stay for a day or two when travelling

I only stayed 2 nights and one full day in Ella. Although the guest house was officially closed for 3 days, as RATHNAYAKE was attending a family wedding. This was booked through a mutual friend. RATHNAYAKE kept the guest house open for me!!! The moment I arrived in Ella, RATHNAYAKE organised a Tuk-Tuk to collect me and bring me to the guest house, where there was a welcome cup of tea waiting for me!! To be fair, I felt that he and his good wife could not do enough for me. Helping sort out meals, planning my days activities and organising any transport requirements I needed. Including for my onward journey. I think you will be hard pushed to find a better host!! The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks for everything 😀👍

Wir hatten einen Fehler gemacht bei unserer Buchung und sind per Zufall auf das Golden View Guest gestossen. Dies war aber ein Glückstreffer. Wir wurden nach dem Stress mit unseren geplanten Buchung sehr herzlich von der Familie begrüsst. Die Familie war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte uns alle unsere Fragen beantworten. Die Anfahrt war ein wenig umständlich aber es lohnt sich. Denn das schönste an der Unterkunft ist die Aussicht und der Sonnenaufgang. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würde sofort wieder buchen.

Wir sind bei unserer Suche zufällig auf diese tolle Unterkunft gestoßen. Oberhalb von Ella liegt dieser kleine Familienbetrieb mit einem atemberaubendem Blick auf Ella Rock. Vom Bett aus könnte man den Sonnenaufgang beobachten und so in den Tag starten. Die Familie ist unfassbar herzlich und hilfsbereit. Für alle die eine Unterkunft in Ella mit einem Blick auf die Berge suchen kann ich nur empfehlen hier schnell zu buchen!
