Baruna Sari Villa

We travelled with our two boys 6 and 9. It was the first time the kids had been to Bali and they thought it was incredible! It was the perfect central location as we could wander the streets exploring and come back to the vila for a swim and rest in the heat of the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were big and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was lovely. The only thing I will say as a parent is the two bedrooms are on different floors. We chose to put the kids downstairs and they locked themselves in and I had the key to the other door. This didn’t dampen our stay at all, just an FYI for parents with young kids.

From the moment I arrived I received a warm welcome and was shown to my beautiful villa. It was just behind the reception desk so as a solo traveller I felt very safe. It was quiet and I had lots of privacy. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was medium firm which was perfect for me and I slept well every night, especially with the air con on. The bathroom was spacious and the water always hot when I showered or run a bath in the huge bath in an evening. The pool was clean and deep, I’m 5”6 and the water went to my chin, it was a decent size to either have a little cooling swim or to sit on the steps and enjoy the sunshine. The breakfasts were very sumptuous and I have to say one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The fruit and fresh juice is a great way to start my day. I highly recommend and I will definitely make sure to come back again on my next visit to Bali. Terima Kasih

The villa offered very good value, and the pool was a welcome respite from the heat. The bathrooms were exceptionally spacious. The location is only a short 2 to 3 minute walk from the main street, so almost everything in Ubud Town is within walking distance. There were some details here and there where attention wasn't paid to. For example, strangely, they did not provide hand soap holders, so the bar of soap had to be perched perilously on the perimeter of the wash basin. The faucet in my room was also loose and shaky, and no room slippers were provided. But the staff was simply fantastic. They were all very friendly and professional, and made all the difference to our stay.

A lovely place to stay... will be even better once it is completed fully. Unfortunately, it is little far to commute to the main street very often, and construction noise is a little full on, as I said once completed!! A couple of lovely Warungs not to far away that offer inexpensive and tasty meals. Villa still priced ok and would definatley stay again. Short people please note that the steps are made for people from the land of the giants... Owner and staff were lovely and very very accomodating.. couldn't do enough to help.. As always Bali is paradise... not much to dislike..

We got room with jacuzzi. Room is dark and small for 3 adults and so is the bathroom. Kitchen is outdoor (wide open) with utensils, water cooler and teacups etc placed outside subject to flies and other insects. AC does not work at all making our 6 hour (yes hours not nights) so unbearable that we checked out and had to pay for a full day stay of IDR 1,150,000. There own kitchen is outdoor as well. The place is old and outdated. Will not recommend staying there.

Een van de beste accomodaties waar we ooit zijn geweest. Vooral het personeel: hier beleef je pas echt wat gastvrijheid is, het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en regelen alles voor je van driver tot een massage in de kamer. Driver (Made) is ook zeker een aanrader, deze hebben we via de villa geboekt en hij heeft ons naar alle mooie plekjes in en rondom Ubud gebracht. Hij is vriendelijk en rijd ontzettend goed / veilig voor een schappelijke prijs. Het ontbijt is uitstekend en meer dan genoeg, de villa zelf is prachtig en hygiënisch. De tuin staat prachtig in bloei en is goed afgeschermd van de andere villa’s. Ondanks dat je midden in het centrum van Ubud zit is dit een oase van rust. Wij zullen de volgende keer zeker weer deze villa boeken voor ons verblijf in Bali. Bedankt voor deze fantastische service.

Cancelan mi reserva a 9 días de mi viaje a Bali, sin ofrecerme otras opciones. Me dicen que me harán un descuento cuando vuelva otra vez, ni que yo fuera a Bali cada año. No os fiéis de este alojamiento, os pueden fastidiar las vacaciones. Dicen que te ayudarán a encontrar otro lugar pero es mentira
