The Alus Cottage is my favourite place to stay in Ubud! Here you will be able not only to have a very comfortable stay in a beautiful villa with a shared swimming pool and qualified service but also the experience of original Balinese life and culture. The villas have a comfortable double bed, dressing table, wardrobe and TV. The bathroom is an artwork of nature with a bathtub and rain shower. On your private terrace, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning or read a book. There is also a big dining table, which you can use for work or dinner. The garden with coconuts is just wonderful, every morning I found there a couple of butterflies and Frangipani flowers, which smell so good. In only 6 minutes by a scooter, you can reach wonderful rice fields, where you are welcome to have lunch/ dinner and enjoy the romantic view or go for a walk. You can also rent a scooter directly from the family and refuel at the door. Good laundry with eco cleaning (аsk Tina), little warungs and small stores with fresh vegetables & fruits are within walking distance or some minutes by scooter. Also nearby are the famous Pyramids of Chi where you can enjoy Sound Healing Sessions and so much more. I was living here for several months and will come back for sure. This family will always stay in my heart.

We have stayed for a month at Alus Cottage and had a great time! The location is in the middle of beautiful rice fields, really nice to wake up and have a walk/jogging in the morning while the sun rises. The village is full of friendly people and it feels very safe to be there. We had a scooter that gives you a lot of freedom to go anywhere you want. Market of Tegallalang is 10 min drive and the food there is amazing. So definitely something you need to try. There are a lot of restaurants where you can eat/work as well. Host and family are very friendly and can give a lot of tips! Overal a great place to stay!

Highly recommend for a stay if you are in ubud Tina helped us alot she provided us a scooty the staff is very good and peaceful to stay with no disturbances you can ask her if you want to know about any places.
