Villa Bodhi

It was a great experience. The villa is surrounded by greenery with an enchanting forest in front of it. The pool overlooks this. The location is about 30 minutes from Ubud traffic permitting, but they will drop you off and pick you up. Inside there are 4 villas perfect for a large family or 2 families. Each comes with a private bathroom with a bath and shower. Cleaning is done every day. The common spaces are excellent in Balinese style with ponds and flower garden. The staff is really delightful, always present and ready to satisfy the various needs, the manager Mr. Madi is truly an excellent and competent person, he speaks English well and will be able to help you with everything thanks again to him for everything. Smile is always ready for the guest. If you need laundry after a long journey they will arrange it for you. You can dine in the villa instead of going to crowded Ubud with a good cook (I suggest you just think about the menu in advance because they have to get the ingredients from Ubud and ask for the things you want like extra virgin oil or Nutella or bread because there is no they have it). I only make a suggestion to the Manager to replace sheets and pillows which are old and unfortunately not perfectly smelling due to the humidity.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Bodhi! The villa is so beautiful and comfortable. The view from the pool is incredible! The staff is super attentive and friendly. We stayed as a family and loved everything! We highly recommend the villa to other travelers.

Villa Bodhi is a rare piece of paradise, exceeding expectations ! The grounds, accommodation, style and ambiance is truly outstanding set in stunning scenery which takes your breath away. Photos don't do it justice. The staff were fantastic attending to our every need. The manager, Made, is a true gem - so attentive, intent on ensuring a memorable experience. He organised some wonderful experiences for us to enjoy at the Villa and gave great advice of things to do outside as well. The meals were better than the restaurants and served in a great setting. All the friendly, kind, attentive staff were so wonderful with such attention to detail and genuine caring for us. We got the best of both worlds as the Villa is set in a gorgeous village, yet we could easily travel to Ubud if needed, driven expertly by Made in great vehicles. We had age ranges from 85 to 4 years of age staying for a week and everyone was catered for and just loved it. It is rare that a venue gets so many aspects right but Villa Bodhi has - location, style, accommodation, staff, food, service. Can't recommend Villa Bodhi and its staff enough. 5++++ stars.

Villa Bodhi is absolutely beautiful! So relaxing! The view is amazing! It really is surreal! Feels like it's from a movie set it just doesn't seem real. The staff is so accommodating and helpful and nice! Would come here again and again and again!

I've stayed at Villa Bodhi several times over recent years. The villa is unique and has consistenty maintained its magic over the years. The location is stunning, being set in a Balinese village in wooded hills with a stunning view towards the mountains. It has a beautifully maintained tropical garden with water features. Each of the four cottages has its own character but all are traditionally Balinese with modern conveniences. The staff are exceptionally welcoming. I recommend sampling breakfast, lunch and dinner at the villa as the food is both healthy and delicious, some of it freshlly harvested from the garden. To cap it all, there is a very tranquil atmosphere at the villa. A truly great place to stay in Bali.
