The Hotel just in town, Very nice place and outdoor pools are the best to relax after all that hiking, will definitely comeback to this hotel

The place is absolutely amazing! The staff were perfect front desk was easy even after getting the wrong room. Front desk figured it out right away and got us into the right room and apologized a million times for a minor error! Would def stay again! A bit far from most bars if your into nightlife but nothing a 10-15$ cab ride can’t take care of!

Hotel Canoe and Suites provide excellent services, clean rooms with modern amenities, and lovely hot tubs and sauna. The hotel even goes the extra mile with free coffee and tea (coffee filters provided), and bus tickets to get to downtown Banff without fussing over parking space. The staff was professional and accommodated our needs quickly and with ease. More specifically, the hotel is designed to be wonderfully convenient while maintaining its vision. The rooms are large, and each has a porch looking into the beautiful mountains. They achieve this by structuring each level to have cascading porches. Moreover, each wing of the hotel is separated by parking, so it is extremely convenient to move luggage around. Yet, the hotel wings are all connected by a hallway on a single floor. This, plus the attention to detail when it comes to guests comfort, such as having towels and changing rooms next to the hot tubs, makes it a great hotel. Highly recommended!

Le Ptarmigan Inn est situé au centre de Banff, au centre-ville. Il se trouve à quelques minutes de marche à de nombreuses options de repas et de shopping. Le parking peut être difficile autour de la ville. L'hôtel propose des passages gratuits et les gares d'autobus sont à seulement un bloc. Il offre également un parking gratuit et nous n'avons pas eu de problème de trouver un espace pendant notre séjour (juillet 2025). Notre chambre était de bonne taille et a été accueillie avec un balcon. La seule plainte que j'avais était que notre chambre était juste près des ascenseurs et le bruit des ascenseurs était assez annoyant. L'ascenseur est un peu vieux et fait un bruit fort. En outre, il y a des gens qui parlent fort par l'ascenseur le matin.

Guests staying at the hotel can pick up a Banff pass. They can take bus 1246. Bus 1 runs directly from the hotel entrance to the Banff Gondola. There were ants in the hotel room, possibly because our room was on the first floor. Also, it's certain that the facilities of hotels in Banff Town are not as good as those in big cities when compared at the same price point. These gaps are something we need to learn to accept.

We were booked on the first floor and it was quite noisy. You can hear the noise coming from the second floor and the adjacent rooms.

The location of the hotel is good with perfect access to the town. There is a supermarket named IGA which is about 8 mins walk. The cave pool is amazing which gives us a relaxing experience. The room is spacious with 2 levels. The upper level is bedroom while the lower level is dining room with a small kitchen. However, room service needs to be improved as there is no cleaning for one day during our stay. Facial tissue doesn't refill after using up.

The hotel is on the right hand of the entrance of Banfu town, 3 floors on the ground, with underground parking, heated swimming pool, SPA hall. There is a lift from the underground car park to the lobby and the upper floors. The guy who checked in was very friendly and patient. We arrived a little early and politely asked if we could check in. He checked and immediately helped us check in. The room is a standard room, two large beds of 1.8 meters, clean and tidy, very comfortable. There are safes and hangers in the hall, and washing and washing are separated. There are hair dryers, coffee makers, refrigerators, air conditioners. The coffee tastes great.My only regret is no breakfast.

Il est très bon d'être un peu loin des foules du centre-ville. Il était un grand parking de nous donner aussi des passes gratuites pour notre séjour. Ensuite, sur la voiture au resort, prenez le coup de la cave et prenez un peu de marche et vérifiez les sites et écoutez les magiciens qui se appellent.

A beautiful and super convenient place to stay if you want to be close to Banff Town. We really enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool, hot tub, and dry sauna - it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The family suite came with a lot of great perks: having our own kitchenette made it easy to cook meals and having two bathrooms was a big plus for four people- it made the say much more comfortable. The only suggestion I'd make is to give the stove's ventilation hood a deep clean - it looked like it could use a bit of attention. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this place to others. Great value and a great stay!
