The Hotel just in town, Very nice place and outdoor pools are the best to relax after all that hiking, will definitely comeback to this hotel

I had a fantastic ,The room was spacious, spotless, and had a breathtaking mountain view. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The heat pool is amazing Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Canoe. Service was exceptional. Parking was included and conveniently accessible. Great coffee and tea selection. Our room was very clean and spacious. It has a stunning mountain view. The bus pass was a plus for going downtown without driving. Everything was great. Thanks very much to the Hotel Canoe staff!

The Ptarmigan Inn is located in the center of the Banff downtown. It is minutes of walk to numerous dining and shopping options. Parking can be difficult around town. The hotel offers free shuttle passes and the bus stops are just one block away. It also offers free parking and we had no problem to find a space during our stay (July 2025). Other reviewers mentioned about parking space problem but the parking space issue only applies to the skiing season when mostly people arrive with a car. Our room was in good size and came with a balcony. The only complaint I had was that our room was right next to the elevators and the noise from elevators was quite annoying. The elevator is a bit old and makes loud noise. In addition, there are people talking loudly by the elevator in the morning.

Il est bon de rester si vous appréciez la situation et la propreté, mais il n'offre pas assez les suppléments que vous pouvez attendre à ce point de prix.

The location of the hotel is good with perfect access to the town. There is a supermarket named IGA which is about 8 mins walk. The cave pool is amazing which gives us a relaxing experience. The room is spacious with 2 levels. The upper level is bedroom while the lower level is dining room with a small kitchen. However, room service needs to be improved as there is no cleaning for one day during our stay. Facial tissue doesn't refill after using up.

Ample parking, rooms have been modernized. Great feature that you can make use of the hot pools of the Canoe hotel across the street. Bit at the edge of town, but you can get free bus tickets to go around Banff.

This hotel is an excellent value for the location and price. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable, amenities are as described. You need to check in next door, but this isn’t inconvenient. The hotel allows you to use the free underground parking until 4pm on day of checkout, which is excellent. I’ve stayed here before and will be returning.

Il y a une maison privée qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Nous allions conduire en tout cas, donc nous avons dû conduire dans le centre-ville de Banff pendant environ 3 minutes, mais ça ne s'est pas passé. Il est très bon de venir dans la nuit et de se coucher dans la salle de bains chaude.

I really like the small kitchen included into the accommodation, very helpful with eating in instead of the expensive restaurant in Banff. I would stay here again.
