Their room was absolutely beautiful, clean and what a breathtaking view of the ocean! Truly amazing and relaxing stay - a home away from home in an abundance of excellence! The sound of the ocean and balcony view was one of many highlights that made this stay truly unforgettable!
The food was exquisite, with dinner and breakfast being another highlight of their stay. But what truly made their experience special was the attention to detail and the way the hotel celebrated their anniversary in grandeur. The gifts, chocolates, flowers, and balloons were a lovely touch that made the occasion truly unforgettable.
My parents were blown away by the hotel's excellence and the staff's dedication to providing a memorable experience. They left with lifelong memories and can't wait to return. RReosha SWe had an amazing stay at this hotel—it was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Durban, and this place completely blew his mind! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, even surprising us with a free room upgrade.
Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city skyline—perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Durban. The location was unbeatable: just steps away from fantastic restaurants (we were spoiled for choice!), the beach, and even attached to a mall for ultimate convenience.
Whether you’re looking for luxury, convenience, or just a stunning getaway, this hotel delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

TTraveldairies.A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall.
The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though.
Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late.
We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets.
Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP.
I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon.
One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients
I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments.
The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

LLANChaque fois que j'habite dans ce quartier d'affaires, sinon je ne serai pas complet ici. L'eau en bouteille n'est pas fournie dans la chambre. Il y a une machine d'achat dans l'allée. J'ai l'habitude de payer avec mon téléphone portable. Il est bon d'apporter une carte de crédit. Les armoires et les coffres-forts étaient cachés et introuvables au début.

IInvitéA good hotel, located approximately 15 km from the center of Durban, closer to the international airport. The rooms are quite spacious, everything you need is there. The breakfast is excellent, I can recommend it. Excellent lobby, stylish design. There are many restaurants for every taste near the hotel. And a few shopping centers near the Hotel. From the international airport of Durban about half an hour by taxi.

Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to book😉❤️

MMiss T.I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Umhlanga with easy access to everything. The room was lovely and super comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast buffet was amazing,delicious and with plenty of options, which was a great way to start the day. However, the restaurant was way too hot. It felt like everyone was trying to grab a fan, and I honestly think they should either switch on the AC or find a better solution for cooling the space.
The pool was nice and well-maintained, and it’s heated, but honestly, it felt a bit strange to swim in a hot pool during summer. I think the heated pool would be much more enjoyable during the cooler months, like in winter. Another downside is that they close the pool way too early….7 pm is pretty unreasonable, especially in a place like Umhlanga where you want to enjoy the evenings.
Overall, it’s a good hotel with great amenities, but the restaurant temperature and early pool closure definitely need some attention.

KKeshinL'hôtel est bien situé, avec un accès facile à la plage. Malheureusement, la chambre était très petite, surtout pour le prix. Le petit-déjeuner était également limité. Le service à l'hôtel était cependant bon. De bons plats sont disponibles 24h/24 et 7j/7 via le room service. J'ai mangé un délicieux mutton bunny à 1h du matin, vraiment délicieux !
