Hôtels en bord de mer à Brighton

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me. I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink. They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure. Thank you, the Grand Hotel.

Après avoir quitté l'hôtel, mes bagages étaient trop lourds pour que je puisse les porter pendant ma visite, alors j'ai demandé à la réception de les garder. Ils proposaient un service de récupération des bagages gratuit, et j'ai également pu utiliser les toilettes, ce qui était très appréciable.

Un séjour avec ma fille adulte pour passer son diplôme. La première fois à Brighton. À une demande heureuse, j'ai eu une vue partielle sur la mer qui était en fait une excellente grande chambre, confortable lit avec une magnifique baie avec pleine vue du soleil. Tout le personnel était attentif, amiable et inclusif. Il y a un charme réel et une atmosphère nostalgique sur le vieux bâtiment qui est sur la plage avant qui permet au petit déjeuner de voir la mer. La seule raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas donné une 5 étoiles 🌟 est dû à certains signes de porter et de larmes / chaises datées, bien qu'elles étaient confortables et snug.

Positives - on the beach front with lovely views, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions. Very nice English breakfast. Staff were polite and efficient. Lobby areas neat and tidy. Good lunch food. Negatives. Upstairs hallways and bedrooms are in very poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty sofas, threadbare carpets, scratched paintwork and faded curtains. Private Parking advertised but still costs £25 a night. Limited amenities.

Cleanliness 4/5 - Upon checking in we were advised that the rooms are not serviced every day. This is why I have not given a full rating for cleanliness. I was surprised by this and don’t remember it being advertised when booking. The room and the hotel were clean but I would have preferred daily service for top marks. Location 4/5. Nice seafront location and we had a beautiful view from our sea view room. It’s a little further from the centre than we would have liked (or realised when booking) but it was nice to stroll along the sea front. In summer this would be lovely but we visited in January so it was a bit cold to walk all that way. Easy enough to get a taxi though. Service 3/5 - A few things could have been improved service wise. The team in the breakfast room were lovely and welcoming and there was a lovely Scottish man who made conversation and enquiries about our visit. However, I found the reception team a bit cold and not very welcoming. When asked about recommendations for things to do in the area they couldn’t offer any. When I asked to book a taxi the phone was just passed to me and I had to go through the options/wait on hold etc rather than them arranging it for me. They didn’t enquire about our stay during checkout or welcome us to come back to visit again. During our stay there was a couple staying in the room above us who had a big argument at about 3:00am with a woman shouting and crying and it went on for around an hour. This obviously wasn’t the fault of the hotel but it was uncomfortable and a bit concerning at times. We reported it to the reception as we couldn’t sleep but there was no further mention of it or apology for the disturbance or for it being allowed to go on for so long when we checked out despite us having phoned through. Also, a minor point but on the first day at breakfast our order was taken but the breakfast was brought out when I had a bowl of cereal still in front of me. Would have been better for them to allow some time to eat from the buffet before bringing out hot food. There was also a surcharge on some items at breakfast even if you paid to have breakfast included. Was a bit confused by this as the ingredients on the surcharged items seemed quite basic and I don’t remember this being mentioned when booking. Amenities 3/5 - this is quite a standard hotel so I didn’t expect it to have lots of amenities. There are two improvements that would have made the stay much better. Our room basically only had one plug socket. There was another that the TV was plugged into but you had to move a set of drawers to get access to it. There wasn’t any plug/USB sockets by the bedside tables. For two people with phones, digital watches and laptops etc it was quite annoying. It would be much better to have a double plug socket each side of the bed to charge devices. The TV was a good size but it didn’t seem possible to cast to the TV. Most people like to be able to cast from their Netflix/Amazon accounts etc so having the ability to cast to it would have been great.

Bel hôtel, très propre. Un peu trop animé pour moi étant donné que j'étais là-bas pour le travail. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

On the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned. No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility. But overall great view and nice staff.

La seule question que j'ai eue était juste un serviette dans la chambre, sinon une grande valeur et une position pour les plages et la plage.

Le service de la chambre est très confortable et très confortable. Bellement propres serviettes blanches fluffy, bon WiFi, mot de passe clairement indiqué, aveugle de démantèlement utile, HOWER, les lumières tombent du plafond, les lampes de lit étaient de sorte attachées au mur, Le lit était très bourré et très poussier et le lit était couché ensemble de deux canapés incompatibles, de sorte qu'il y avait une piste vers la tête de plusieurs pouces. J'ai dormi pendant une heure ou deux à l'aide des pilules pour me propulser, mais je me suis encore réveillé avec le sang qui m'a été vers la tête, donc j'ai dû dormir en haut du lit. Un lit à dormir est L'exigence fondamentale d'une chambre d'hôtel, donc vraiment les gars, installez un lit réel!!!!!!

방은 크지는 않지만 사진과 같이 모던하고 깔끔한 느낌이었어요! 위치도 좋았구요 다만 4인이서 가서 인당 8만원씩 낸 숙소치고는 아쉬웠습니다 엘레베이터가 없는거랑 화장실이 공용인점...ㅠ 근데 유독 그 날짜가 좀 비쌌던것 같아요 다른날짜 조회해보니까 ㅇㅇ 조금만 더 쌌다면 99퍼 만족했을듯요! 화장실도 깔끔했고 다만 샴푸는 없었어요 수건은 한장씩 줬습니당
