AC Hotel Cleveland Beachwood

Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were so clean and the rain showerhead was delightful. Kelvin, Ashanti and Jalen really made this stay phenomenal.

I was in town with my family for the NCAAW Final Four. The entire city was buzzing with activities associated with the tournament, eclipse, AND opening day. AC Hotel was also busy, but Kelvin at the front desk might us feel welcome and helped us settle in. Thank you for the terrific service!

I stayed this past weekend and really enjoyed my stay. I had two rooms. The rooms were clean and easily accessible. The staff was very inviting and friendly. I had a few questions when I first arrived and Ashanti and Jaylen at the front desk answered them without hesitation. I also had a conversation with the manager Kelvin and he was just as friendly. There is easy access to various dining and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The front office manager, Kelvin, was very helpful and pleasant. The hotel seemed a little understaffed, but my room was clean and comfortable. Kelvin definitely made the difference for our group.

I was traveling to Solon for work and my former director recommended this hotel. I wish that I had gotten her recommendation prior to my last trip. This hotel is a massive upgrade over any of the offerings in Solon. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Well worth the 10 minute drive to the office each morning. It’s in a lovely area - across the street from a nice coffee shop and with plenty of great shops and restaurants, rooms were cleaned either nightly or on demand (I chose nightly) and the gym was open 24 hours with plenty of cardio equipment (bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills) and dumbbells. Would have liked to see a few more weight machines - there was 1 - but the space is fairly small. Parking is free and next to the hotel. Accessible to the public but feels totally safe. I was there for Valentine’s Day and the staff left a Valentine at every room - which I thought was a nice touch. Only complaint would be that the hotel had a “fabric” looking wallpaper. I wish that hotels would stop making this choice as it is impossible to clean and always looks dirty and gross. But maybe that’s a me issue. ;)

After some of the reviews on here, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this worked for me. Room is nicely designed. Beds are comfortable. Decent bathroom set up. I liked the open closet and the mini fridge. My only complaints: The safe was locked when I got there and despite calling down to the desk twice, it was never reset for me. Also, the way the curtains are set up, it's impossible to completely close them. Consequently the light kept getting in and waking me up. Free parking. It's located in someone's attempt at creating an upper middle class Main Street kind of community with lots of shops and restaurants.

Terrible customer service at the front desk now I’m finding out it goes right up to the AGM. Had a bad experience checking in and when I asked for the GM’s card I was given the AGM’s card. I have called him twice and left a voice mail and he will not return my phone call. Very unprofessional.

This was my second time staying at this clusterf*ck of a hotel. The MOST mismanaged hotel I have ever stayed in!!! Last time I was i town this place never made up my room, had workers walking around on their iphones talking to their gf's or spouses and doing NOTHING. I was awarded three free nights they screwed up so bad last time. So what was different about this STAY??? NOTHING. Service so bad I am in shock. Room was either freezing cold or hot as hell no matter how you would try to control the temp of your room. Screaming kids running around the floor above us. I complained about the noise and was told by the manager to " next time request a top floor room" WOW! That was useful wasn't it? The second to last day we come back to our room to find the duvet blankets in a pile out front of our door at 5 pm- beds had only a thin sheet on both beds. It was as if the lazy workers doing housekeeping looked at their watch, and said "time to go home" and just quit cleaning the room! My brother complains and next thing we know we are being told housekeeping left for the day and the day manager in a suit comes up with an assistant to make the beds himself. Kudos to him but ***??? It's quite obvious that his hotel is staffing its employees with such horridly qualified people and haven't a clue about customer service whatsoever. The only positive thing I can say about this place is the bar was nice and Carolyn the bartender was attentive and nice. I've already told three people I know who our coming home to cleveland to CANCEL their reservations and go to the Aloft or Hyatt Place nearby, I've stayed at comfort inn's that are better staffed ands managed. NEVER AGAIN will I stay at Pinecrest. The entire place is a disappointment. Marriott- get it together, send executives here that can train these people on how customer service works. I get that Cleveland isn't a first rate city, I get that people aren't flocking to move there but CHRIST almighty, hire better workers. The last time I complained the manager who is no longer there told me they were hiring people from the inner city who have never worked in hotels before- but that was the height of COVID this is NOW. DO NOT STAY HERE you will be very disappointed you did.

Clean updated room and the front desk checked us in early without us asking which made our day so much easier. Front desk was super helpful more than once. Free parking is always good as well. Solid bar & bartender to end our night. Cute area around hotel for food and shopping.
