We stayed for two nights for a wedding. Guests of the inn are treated like royalty. Beautiful accommodations, lovely sitting rooms. Enjoyed social hour in the library, relaxing on the porches and the overall ambiance. Carrie, Matt and Karen were so attentive and accommodating to make our stay wonderful. Convenient location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the riverfront. Highly recommend!!

We were there for a wedding. The staff could not have treated us better! They made a wonderful time even more wonderful by their constant care & attention to each of us & whatever we asked/needed - at times even before we asked. Truly amazing place & staff.

What a wonderful experience, everyone did everything they could to make it a memorable time. The Cuthbert House truly takes you back in time from its huge porches to the elegant dining area this is how we always imagined a southern mansion . We stayed in the Courtyard room which had an outside seating area which was private and perfect for midnite coffees . We loved this place . Ed and Pat

My husband and I took a 3 night get away trip from Pawleys island, SC... we had never been to Beaufort before. Our stay at the Cuthbert House was absolutely delightful! The inn had just undergone major renovations, and the rooms and common spaces were exceptional. New, modern bathrooms; luxurious towels; tasteful decorating; great service; a block to town and restaurants ... all added to the terrific experience. We also enjoyed wine and delicious hors d'oeuvres with other guests on the front porch as the cool breeze came off the water. A 5* experience!

A return visit, and after the extensive renovations, did not disappoint. The innkeeper was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Day was started with a wonderful breakfast, day pass compliments of the Inn to Hunting Island State Park, and then a bike ride around beautiful Beaufort with Cuthbert’s new bikes. To end the day, a lovely social hour on the porch chatting with new friends while enjoying tasty hor d’oeuvres and wine. Then off to dinner at one of many fantastic restaurants in the area. The hospitality of the owner and staff made it a 5 star stay!

We stayed at the Cuthbert House this last weekend and must say it was way above and beyond our expectations!! Every aspect of the experience was a Total Ten! The hostess, Carrie, gave us a tour of the historical home, describing its conception and conversion, before showing us to our room, which was extremely well appointed including excellent views of the bay. Happy hour with your choice of wine or beer and a sumptuous buffet of treats and cheeses was delightful! Breakfast the next morning was elegant and delicious. Every individual on the premises treated us with charm and eager desire to please. I can honestly say, this was the finest B&B experience we have ever had. I hope you get to experience it also!!!

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt Southern hospitality. Karen was so friendly and welcoming and she and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were honored guests the entire time we were there. The house itself oozes Southern Charm. Our room decor was authentic and we felt like we were in a period mansion (with modern amenities). We loved sitting on the porch for the afternoon social time. And the breakfast was outstanding with foods you generally don't see at places that provide breakfast. The topper was when Karen found out we were heading to Hunting Island, she gave us the house pass to the state park so we would not have to pay the entrance fee. We have already recommended staying here to friends.

Everything about the Inn was delightful! From the warm reception to the fresh new decor, attention to detail was impressive. Loved the spa-like feel of our room. Cool and relaxing. Also, the location is great with views of the river and a short walk to downtown Beaufort. A perfect experience.

My husband and I went for a little getaway. It was wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff could not more helpful. We especially enjoyed the happy hour. Every night we would join the other guest for drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend The Cuthbert House. Patricia
