Borgo San Gaetano

What an incredible stay! The space was fantastic for a couple. The shower was huge compared to the other showers we had experienced throughout Italy. Comfy bath robes were provided along with exceptional skin product samplers. Breakfast had an amazingly wide selection of delicious fresh fruit, veggies, pastries and exceptional coffee! The grounds included a charming garden area and entryway. We can't say enough about their incredible staff. Mimma and the girls were there for any request or question we had. Thanks to them, we discovered another family connection with Bernalda! This was a very special adventure for us...one we hadn't anticipated and one we will never forget! We will be back!

Indeed, everything was perfect. We stayed in a junior suite, which was clean, lovely, and well-appointed with a living area and a very comfortable bed. The layout of the establishment was unique and very pretty, as each room has a private entrance into a pretty courtyard. Gian, Noemi, and all their staff were all friendly, and kind. We highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in Bernalda Italy. We loved our stay at this property. The staff is excellent and the rooms are big with very comfortable beds. It is conveniently located near many restaurants and stores in the lively commune of Bernalda. The property is very charming with a beautiful courtyard where you can have delicious breakfast and aperativi. We would definitely stay at this property on our next visit to this beautiful area.

We absolutely loved it here! Rooms are cozy, gardens are relaxing, and everything is super clean. The bedding and towels are plush and soft. The location is great one block from the Main Street with bars, restaurants and shops. The continental breakfast is served in a beautiful building. And the host brings you your drinks and food. Mimma is sweet, friendly and helpful. We will stay here every time we visit the area.

Bellissima!!!! Beautiful, comfortable, perfect location! All the Staff is wonderful! The dining and common relaxing area is beautiful and the breakfast delizioso! Fresh, local and buon! Spacious, beautiful outdoor area, also, if you are inclined to relax outside. But you are just as close to the corso to take a relaxing walk! I will suggest this location to all if heading to Bernalda or just passing through! Grazie for a wonderful stay! Baci Baci

Unique residence in historic part of town, close to centre with bars, cafes, restaurants, amenities nearby. Excellent accommodation, big comfortable room with mezzanine. Easy access with keys, avoiding need to disturb staff to get in and out. Breakfast with wide variety of options, local produce, served by friendly staff, who like the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating.

My family of 5 originally booked an apartment in the town of Bernalda using Airbnb. Unfortunately the apartment was not ideal for us and we needed to find alternative accommodations for our remaining two nights. Other family members were staying at the Palozzo Margherite whose concierge recommended this BNB. We were fortunate to book the two garden rooms which were perfect for our family. The rooms are amazingly clean with all modern amenities. The rooms were so comfortable that we all slept well in spite of the summer temperatures. Our host Mimma is terrific. She is very kind, helpful and understanding. Gabriela and her co-worker were wonderful serving us breakfast each morning, which is comprised of local fruits and amazing assortment of baked breakfast foods. The town of Bernalda is an ideal location to visit in the Basilicata region and in close proximity to Castlemezzo/Pietrapertosa, Metera, and the beach. Although we are off to visit other areas of Italy, I would have enjoyed staying more nights at the wonderful Borgo San Gaetano.

We found this charming B&B to be everything we hoped for and more! conveniently located next to Corso Umberto (main street), fabulous hospitality, great breakfast, superior rooms with every comfort! Mima and Maria Grazia were delightful and very accoglienti (hospitable) They even played my favorite music while eating breakfast. The room was so pretty, spacious, and had great kitchen amenities. Shower fantastic!!

Bellissimo hotel di charme, arredato con gusto, situato in una silenziosa stradina laterale del centro storico di Bernalda. Accoglienza ottima da parte di Gianluigi e di tutto lo staff, colazione perfetta a base di prodotti dolci e salati rigorosamente locali e fatti in casa. La suite è spaziosa e molto accogliente. Un prossimo viaggio in Basilicata sarà il pretesto per tornare in questo posto da sogno.
