Hotel Royal & Spa

This hotel is completely fabulous, and I very highly recommend it. I stayed in room 213, it was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was stunning and the shower was the best of any hotel I have stayed in over the years. You really have everything you need. The room was pure luxury in the most luxurious way and style. I was very impressed! The hotel is perfectly located and you couldn’t find a more perfect location. The breakfast was amazing and pure luxury as well as the service from the waiter on the 4th May. All the staff were so helpful and really looked after me. I especially need to mention Klaudia on reception. This lady is a complete asset to this hotel and so very kind and attentive to the guests. The only fault I can find with this hotel, is that I had to leave. Whenever I return to this city I will always book this fabulous hotel, it is completely perfect and a real jewel in this beautiful city! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room was a little smaller then expected. The duvet, comforter and pillow smelled stale like an old man. Luckily there was a fresh one in the closet to use. Make sure to google map the parking lot not the hotel of you have a car to park. Central location. Could walk to many things. Beautiful swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna on 3rd floor.

Hotel facilities are like 5 star hotel, but employers act like in Soviet Union. We ordered sauna on the evening , for the next morning at 8.30. We even double cheked that our order is taken. On the morning at 8.30 we found cold sauna. We told to the reseption what happended the the person on the reseption claimed is that the sauna was on. In 5 stars hotell shoud not make clients feel that they are lying. Mistakes happend, but how they tried to hide the mistake, made us fell very disappointed.

Just before New Year’s Eve I decided to take my boyfriend to Royal Hotel for New Year’s Eve Party. When I looked online to book our nights out, there was last room available, which means the price was high. But that was ok. It was my first time I was visiting Poland and I really want to enjoy it. When we arrived to the room and open the door the room looked nice and tidy. After unpacking our bags my boyfriend saw a quite big stain near front door on the carpet floor. He works past seven years in five-star hotels In Mayfair London. His eyes spot inequality immediately. That put our stay down so badly each time we were coming back to the room the stain was there to welcome us at the door. Second thing was crack on toilet door near the handle which was fixed and painted unprofessionally. Finally, it was quite a shock when we saw that for each room service, we would have to pay 40zl, which is relevant to 8£ English pounds. I do understand to tip, as I aways do, but to pay room service in five-star hotel seem a bit odd for us. Moreover on arrival we found out that Jacuzzi is not working. Our next move was to go downstairs to Royal Hotel Browar and enjoy the night before New Years Eve. Just day before like I was able to get last room in your hotel, it was the same as such I was able to get last available table at Royal Hotel Browar for New Years Eve. While eating we spoke to Manager to find out where would be our table on New Year’s Eve, but unfortunately, the table plan was not ready yet. Later, during night one of the lovely waitresses told us that the table plan was ready. When we asked where our table would be, we found out it would be by the wall on the right-hand side from main entrance. That put us off too. The Manager knew we are staying guest even so allocated us by the wall. We were totally no happy with it. Then we spoke to our lovely hostess who looked after us all evening and explain. Thereafter we did get different table. New Year’s Eve night begins, we set down order drink, food and start to enjoy last night of the year. After some time, the music starts to play very loud, thereafter not at all. Basically, there were speakers on top of the bar which were not working properly. Music once played, once not at all, once to loud and once not at all. Eventually their were taken away. It totally break the atmosphere for us, as such the spirit of New Year’s Eve ( Sylwester) night. Finally, as we had table for two, the chairs we had were not too comfy. We saw boof table empty for quite a long time, like few hours. Therefore, we asked our waitress if we could move there, but been told that it is booked. After hour later we asked again, unfortunately, same answer. Then my boyfriend went to ask one of the Managers and we were able to move to the boof table. Overall during our stay we spend a good some of money at your hotel, always tipping for really good service from your staff, but sometimes I was not feeling welcome. We would be extreme

This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel and in room 106 which is a suite looking out on to the Old Town, which is beautiful. The location of the hotel is amazing and the cleanliness and general condition of the hotel is very good. Sadly, the location and hotel has been let down by some very poor service and noise. Firstly the service. Our first visit was amazing and the staff were superb. Unfortunately this time round the reception staff have been slow and when we had requests we were asked to go downstairs to them! When we got into our beautiful suite with a balcony overlooking the Old Town square we decided to have a much needed cup of tea and coffee. There was one normal tea bag and only one sugar and one sweetener. So we had to call reception. They then sent up four more sugars and a mixture of tea. This was okay but we knew we would need more later if we wanted to have a couple more hot drinks...so we ended up calling later for more. We then received an expresso which they wanted us to sign for!! There should have been no confusion as my partner is Polish (I am English). We then had to call to get the second room key back after the cleaner had taken our one. having been asked to attend the reception to get one my partner insisted they bring one to us! On the second day in the evening we then had a knock on the door followed quickly by a member of staff coming in, fortunately I was dressed but my partner was having a bath. Apparently there was an emergency. Thank goodness we were not interrupted enjoying our break in other ways! When we used the restaurant for an evening meal there were no napkins for some reason, the same happened at breakfast...you had to ask! As I write at 0900hrs I am still tired from an interrupted night of listening to drunk people outside, police cars, until 0330hrs and the noise of chairs moving and music from the restaurant directly below our suite! These may sound trivial things, apart from the drunken people shouting until the early hours, but this is a five star hotel and the suite we were in is the most expensive room. We wont stay again as we feel the standard of service has dropped and for some reason the noise in the suite this time round was far louder than before.

Second time we have visited the hotel. Firstly the good points! The suite we have had both occasions is amazing, and extremely clean and presentable. The hotel location is perfect as well. Sadly on this occasion we have spent time having to request sugar, tea, coffee, spare room key and napkins at dinner. The reception staff attitude is for us to call, collect and do the running around, which leaves us asking them to do it before they offer! How you can have a five star hotel that provides 1 sugar sachet and no normal tea nags is crazy. Also, the bed pillows are one normal and a cushion which has probably been used by numerous other people. A beautiful hotel let down by poor service and attention to detail. As mentioned, this is a five star hotel, so whilst some complaints may seem trivial, it's annoying when paying premium money.

A party of 6 arrived to the hotel just before 8pm on Aug 4. Three rooms booked, asked for two interconnecting as we were travelling with kids, and the request was fulfilled - we got the rooms we asked for. Hard product is good - bed and linen of good quality. Bathrooms are of good size, modern and without any signs of wear or tear. Chopard toiletries are are very nice extra! Breakfast with very ample choice - local products of very good quality, Waiting staff was very professional, efficient and smiling! Great job! Now, where it seems to go a little bit off piste is with the quality of so called soft product. It was relatively difficult to get trough to the reception - the phone was busy on several attempts - when I did get through, my request was handled promptly and efficiently, so probably the reception desk is just bit understaffed. However there was one thing where this hotel got it really wrong - the room service! We arrived after a long drive and decided to use room service for dinner - remember - we got there at 8pm. According to the hotel information, the room service operates till midnight(!) which is certainly a positive point. I wanted to place my order at 8.30pm When I called to order one of the most basic items from the room menu - chicken broth (remember we are in eastern Poland, where this kind of soup can be found literally on every restaurant), I was told that they run out of this most basic dish. Well, ok. Bad luck - it happens (on the other hand, what restaurant runs out of broth at 8pm, when they are probably still at their first service?!). I called back 2 minutes after to order something else, and was politely informed that the waiting time for the room service, regardless what you order, is at least 1h40 minutes (yes - 100 minutes!). Apparently the hotel restaurant was full and they were not able to handle room service any more. Quite frankly telling your paying guest staying overnight that he has to wait as restaurant has priority - such a disappointment! Lack of consideration for paying guests. So staying in a 5* hotel and willing to eat something relatively quickly (we’ll without waiting 100 minutes) is either to order a pizza or visit a local grocery store (beware they close at 9pm) to buy some basic foods. A situation I would not expect. It is of course not the end of the world, but leaves a very bitter taste and huge disappointment at the very moment. Another piece of advice - rooms at the front of the hotel are very, very noisy - the hotel restaurant (yes - exactly one where outside clients get priority over hotel guests) is just below - on the ground floor of the 2 storey building - so if your rooms are located there (108/109) forget about sleeping with your windows open (even with windows closed you still get a fair share of laughs and swears from the guests below)…. So if you like sleeping with windows open, opt for a room at the back!!! Overall, the hotel product is great and deserves a recommenda

Hotel molto curato sulla piazza principale di Bialystok. Servizio molto puntuale, camere spaziose con un bel bagno in marmo. L’hotel ha una Spa con piscina all’ultimo piano aperta già di prima mattina. Parcheggio primato comodo sul retro. Top!

Hotel in posizione centralissima e direttamente sulla piazza. Posteggio molto comodo sul retro. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Dotazione completa. Bagno con doccia spazioso ma scivoloso : attenzione ! Ristorante Monte Carlo buono e personale gentile.
