Avis : Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre

Service was excellent. Came here as it was my birthday and wanted to party in Birmingham. Lady on the desk always greeted me and my friend with a smile and she was so lovely. Was given complementary drinks for my birthday too, unfortunately never got to have them but thank you very much for those. Had a lovely birthday weekend ❤️

1. In the outdoor smoking area, some non-hotel guests will ask you for cigarettes and they are very rude 2. Yesterday at 00:30, the fire alarms on all floors suddenly went off. They stopped at 01:00, but no hotel staff came to tell us what happened

Hotel location is great as it is close to New Street with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. One complaint has to be that walk up the ramp to get the hotel entrance. Staff are very polite and helpful. Lobby area is fantastic as it caters to business and leisure visitors.

Lovely hotel, central placed for all amenities.   Breakfast 10/10.  Only one small problem , water wouldn’t drain away in bathroom sink but this was quickly rectified when reported.

The hotel location is great: 3 minutes to the New Street Station (i.e. the main/central railway station), Mailbox (a shopping and restaurant center along canals), and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, 5 minutes to China town, 10 minutes to Jewelry Quarter (all by walking)… The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the other guests’ showering and toilet flushing was overheard all the time/continuously, specially between 6 am-8 am. The breakfast is nice but the restaurant flow (the positions of the food, drinks etc., and the movements of the service staff) is not OK.

Excellent hotel. Spotless well appointed room. Quiet night. Beautifully cooked hot and cold breakfast options. Friendly staff. What more could you want?

Great location for theatres. Not far from New Street Station. Wonderful twin room with 2 double beds. Bathroom and room spotlessly clean. Fab room decor. Loved the mirrors. Not lotta noise in night. Slight traffic noise. Air con was fab. Cooled down in few minutes. Felt very safe as doorman checked room no. and surname. Definitely recommend.

Great stay close to Birmingham city centre. Clean and well appointed hotel. Male reception staff displayed excellent customer service. Overall no issues.

Our stay was pleasant the room was a great size and the hotel is in a great location. However, some of the furniture looked a little beaten up and the chair in the bedroom was stained. There was also a few stains in the bathroom. It would have been great if there had been a mini fridge in the room. We would however stay again

Helping staff, good breakfast, 2 double bed rooms are big. Close to city center and other attractions. Overall good place to stay

Convenient and good location. Closed to HSBC and library. Service is good. The only bad thing is that the noise of closing the front door is noisy which is annoying in the morning

Bed was hard had a unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t be staying at this hotel again

The location is amazing! Walkable from train station. Close to the Utilia avenue

All good but was surprised a basic items like cotton buds are not provided by the hotel.
