Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre Broad Street

Exceeded expectations. Comfortable bed in a clean room. Quiet location. Very good breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.

We stayed here due to its close proximity to the Utilita Arena and its low price. We had left it quite late to book and had previously stayed at the Hilton Garden Hotel - they are 2 minutes apart but over £100 difference in price! We need somewhere with a good mattress to accommodate a disability and Premier Inn mattresses are very good in this regard. The person on reception was lovely, they made us feel so welcome. The room and the hotel in general is SO clean. The housekeepers there are working to a very high standard. The hotel doesn't have a bar but there are plenty in Brindley Place which is only a few minutes walk down the road. This will definitely be the hotel we use now when we come to Birmingham. One little ****** is that we were in room 14 and it's right next to the stairs which are quite creaky and loud. That wasn't much of an issue for us, but if you need quiet, that may not be the room for you!

Went to a concert at the Utilita Arena and this was nice and close at a great price. It was less than 10 minutes to the arena and there's plenty of bars and restaurants around. The room was lovely, basic but nice and cosy, the bed was amazing. Considering how busy the hotel was l didn't hear much noise at all and slept like a baby. Receptionist was lovely and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to attend a concert at the nearby Arena. The location is very central, we walked to and from the Arena within 5-10 minutes and to restaurants and shops. We got the tram to The Bullring which the friendly lady on reception suggested which was much easier than driving. We managed to get a space in the hotel car park which was ideal but there is another multi-storey car park very close by. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the family room was perfect for what we needed for just one night as we just needed somewhere central to sleep. The room was very hot at night but it was a very warm evening. The breakfast was great value for money with the kids eat free and they loved being able to go up for more and the 12.00 checkout was great so we didn't have to rush in the morning. I would happily stay here again if visiting Birmingham and would recommend to others.

If you want a good nights sleep guaranteed avoid room 14 !!! I suggest asking for a quiet room before booking !

I stayed for a concert, location was great, considering How close we was to clubs and bars no noise can be heard. Room very clean Receptionist was not only stunning but very helpful with directions and helping us

Booked an overnight stay for a concert. Check in was simple and staff were very friendly. Room was clean and cool even though it was a warm day. Hotel was quiet and we had a great sleep. We are looking forward to returning in August for another concert. Probably the nicest and cleanest Premier Inn we’ve stayed in. Thank you

Hotel ok and good location, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast experience wasn’t so good, waiting for food, fried eggs like rubber, no pastries watery orange juice , it was only 9.00am food should have been available. You advertise on menu Full English Breakfast, no way when not all the food was not there .Expected more for what you charged

You know what you’re getting with Premier Inn, and this is at the top end of their scale. Super clean, beds were great, doors close quietly, and overall the hotel is peaceful even though it’s right in the centre. Feels nice and compact, staff were lovely, and the breakfast are was well kept too. Parking area is compact, so arrive early.
