Belroy Hotel

酒店有點舊，勝在乾淨。但注意完全沒有早餐提供，網站説早餐另外收費，估計是幫你叫外賣。有浴巾，肥皂是洗手那種小塊，網站寫有吹風機其實是沒有的。

Yes it was cheap but still…. After a 4 hr train journey, no one was there to greet us despite them knowing what time we were arriving. Eventually given the keys to room 11 (50 steep stairs) top floor the heating was on but promptly turned off and stayed off until the morning we left. No hot water despite running the water for 10 mins several times a day. I paid extra for toiletries and a hairdryer so didn’t bring my own. Had to ask for the hairdryer and toiletries to which I was told the 2 £2 size soaps were the toiletries. No plug in the sink. Bathroom ceiling covered in mould. Discoloured bath mat. Their clientele consisted off people drunk, shouting, slamming doors, crying, arguing, intimate noise all of which continued all through the night every night and a refusal argument to vacate by 10 o’clock. Despite being freezing and unable to wash for the weekend and paying extra for items I couldn’t use, the hotel is located near the tower, trams and town centre.

The bed was so comfy and the bedding and room smelt so nice and fresh. Was tea/coffee/sugar/milk available in the room and if you needed more there was some at reception. The managers were so friendly and made sure the room was ready for our arrival. Couldn’t have asked for any better for the cheap prices !

Visited during Oct half term with a friend and our 2 children. This was my 3rd visit to the Belroy and was made to feel welcome once again. The manager is so lovely and nothing is to much trouble. Room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay (including towels and soap). Location of this hotel is brilliant, literally minutes from the town. We will stay here again nxt year for sure x

Very friendly staff and welcoming. Comfortable room to get your head down at night . Very good location 2mins from beach Close by to all facilities local pubs cafes restaurants just in general lovely place so if your looking for quiet place to get head down for short stay we would recommend here. 2mins walk from coach station

I visited the Belroy Hotel during a work trip. Having booked for the amazingly low price, I was initially concerned by the reviews with mention of a 'scammer' and 'filthy rooms' (I saw these after having booked in a hurry). Please don't let the negative reviews concern you. I think what has happened is that the many satisfied guests haven't felt a need to leave a review, while the small number of dissatisfied guests have gone all out to make the hotel sound like a hell hole. It's really not! The owner couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and attentive. Even though I arrived at 21:30, I was greeted as soon as I rung the doorbell. I had absolutely no issues with my payment. The room was perfectly satisfactory and what I would expect for £25 a night. This was a great deal, considering the hotel is only steps away from the seafront. The wifi, as promised by the hotel, was very speedy. I did have to get earplugs due to loud guests in other rooms, but this was not the hotel's fault. Although the room was a bit rough around the edges in places (e.g. stains at the bottom of the bin, a shower that requires a wait before it heats up), there was nothing to cause a bother, especially as I only needed a place to sleep and wash, and considering the excellent price. If you are just after the basics for a very reasonable price, I encourage you to give the Belroy Hotel a chance! It's all you need, and it's very convenient - no scammers, squalor or long waits to be found.

The hotel is basic but the manager is lovely, very kind and welcoming, however if you’re looking for a family hotel this isn’t it it’s more a party hotel where people come in at stupid o’clock. The downfall to this hotel are the tiny rooms and the guests but the guests aren’t the owners fault. I wouldn’t stay here again due to the fact it’s very small and it has very thin walls so you can here slamming doors and people shouting when they come in at the early hours of the morning. Overall it was cheap so I didn’t really have high expectations, you get what you pay for..
